Couldn’t watch after about the red. How was sabitzer? He looked decent enough. Only had 10 mins and down to 10 so not a great deal he could do. Was unlucky to have been penalised towards the end or we'd have probably gone on to nick a 3rd. |

Just back from the most memorably biased and incompetent refereeing performance I've seen at Old Trafford - and I was there for the Drogba offside and the Nani sending off. Mariner's decisions were genuinely suspicious.

I don't understand all the criticism of Casemiro; he didn't do anything especially bad, and should only have been booked if others were also. The referee and VAR did everything they could to hand a point to Palace. 9 minutes added time? Sabitzer's tackle a foul? Red card?
I was staggered, though, by how long it took Eric to put Sabitzer on after the red card. How did that require observation and thought? What other options did he think he might have?
