The only positive from last night was the fight back from being 2 down. Don’t play rashford on the right. Sell Fred to Burnley and he can take WW back with him. It’s just highlights the point what we’ve all said on here that ‘We have 0 depth in the squad and a couple of players missing reverts us back to the shit we watched last season’. With new owners we should never have to watch all the average shit we currently have in squad again. Ten Hag's United with Casemiro: Win Without Casemiro: ... Is the difference this season really the manager? I think it’s a bit of both tbh. Let’s not forget not that long ago this lot were considered a bunch of delicate flowers. Need daddy Casemiro to guide them.

Is the difference this season really the manager? I think he’s unquestionably improved players. Look at Rashford. Even with Casemiro, without Rasher’s goals the last few months we’d be fucked. He’s also been responsible for buying Martinez who is absolutely brilliant. We’re clearly better than we were, but obviously Casemiro has made a massive difference to that. On Fred again (his performance was so bad I’ve spent all morning fucking flabbergasted) he’s passable in midfield if he has someone with poise next to him. Someone who can take a breath. Last night was insane watching him. The new lad could be a good player for us, but ideally you wouldn’t want him making his debut next to Fred. The league’s so fast as it is, but having fucking Crash Bandicoot next to you is hardly going to settle you in.

Still find it insane that what he's getting from this squad and people are still finding ways to question if he's good enough. As soon as we drop points it's straight for the manager again. Let's not forget the squad is down to the bare bones of it's arse aswell and we're getting extra games shoe horned in inbetween. What he's getting out of this squad so far this season is miles above what was expected of him in his first season.

Any team that goes from Eriksen and Casemiro to Fred and Sabitzer was going to have problems. Sabitzer has just arrived 1 week ago and wasn't even playing regular starting football for Bayern He's a decent player, but a very different player to either Casemiro or Eriksen. Leeds flooded the midfield playing direct through the middle and it was chaos.
That was as bad as anything last year in midfield, when even shite teams played right through us! He made changes up front so we could hold the ball up higher and recycle from the back and through the full backs and it was a lot better! You would still expect something better from Fred with some of his passing and giving the ball to them, which was atrocious! Fernandez had a poor game too
Weghorst obviously isn't great footballer, but he is a goalscorer and didn't get any service. The delivery was a lot better when the changes were made.
It just proves what a shit squad we have really in certain areas midfield and centre forward in particular

Casemiro , Eriksen and Antony in that game and Rashford in his correct position , we would have won that game 5 or 6-0. Leeds are shite and I think ETH will get it right for the next game and beat them easier.

Even with Casemiro out, we managed to have 66% possession and had chances we should’ve finished in the first half. ETH has done an outstanding job thus far. We should’ve won that game despite the piss poor performance by Fred, which completely put our back 4 under pressure.

I thought maybe he would win us headers and even score from a cross with his head, not even come close to either having said that have we given him a cross to get on the end of yet? Why would you think that? He has never prolific with his head. He's just tall. Yea I know wishful thinking I’ll have to stop that, ETH said that Wout would surprise us, the surprise is that he’s even more shit than we enticipated.

Yea I know wishful thinking I’ll have to stop that, ETH said that Wout would surprise us, the surprise is that he’s even more shit than we enticipated. The annoying thing is he's fairly good in certain areas, but not the areas we need him to be. His work rate and pressing are great, the problem is he's not here to do that. He's here to score goals. Not gonna go in on the bloke because I had little expectation when he came in. But he really should he used as a Plan B and not starting games. Playing a 6ft 6 striker like him in a team that plays fast flowing football is always going to be challenging. I can see why Erik played the front 3 the way he did given the players we have out but if Rashford started on the left or up top from the beginning I honestly think that result is ending much different. I expect a response on Sunday at the very least.

Fred being our most frustrating player when he has Martial as a teammate is quite an achievement.

We used to take the piss out of the Scousers when they extolled the virtues of Kuyt as a defensive attacker. Weghorst is our version, but without the occasional goal thrown in.

This has nowt to do with Weghorn, just like to remember that Van Gaal finished third in a World Cup with Kuyt at right wingback.

Just watched the first half and would love to see Sabitzer in that 8 box to box. He looked a bit lost in the 6 role. The center forward in front of him completely removed him as an outlet. He will need to work harder and find the space between the lines, but overall I thought he did well.
Like to keep an eye on Meslier at 22 years old he maybe worth taking on when Leeds go down.
