If anyone was in doubt of the level of work still to be done to bring us back up and competing, there shouldn’t be any left after that turgid crock of shit.
Embarrassing!

I know injuries have played their part but since the Cup final its as if these players have said "fuck it we've won a trophy now we don't have to try any more".
Too many of the same players that threw previous managers under the bus are starting to show their true colours again. Leopards don't change their spots. Get those yank cunts out and ditch half this squad.

Worth remembering that in January we were in 3 cups and on the periphery of a title race. A serious Club would have gone out and signed a forward player to help us push on. We signed a blind baby giraffe on loan from Burnley. 'Shrewd signing, worth the gamble.'

Yeah agree with you. The only thing that could make this season a success is if by some miracle we manage a domestic cup double. But I cannot see us getting past Brighton and Manchester City especially with our current defence. And now we have blown our back-up route to Champions League qualification failure to make top 4 would in my eyes make this season a failure. We've been unlucky with injuries and suspensions. But we still should have had enough quality to win this competition. And I think that is where Erik still needs to improve as a manager. Someone like Jose had that ability to overcome adversity and even unfavourable odds to win trophies. We are still too much of a fair weather team. When we are at full strength and our key players show up we can beat anyone. But if things aren't going our way and we are missing some key players or they don't show up then we can pretty much lose to anyone as well. Our season has been way overhyped.

We spent 160 million on sancho and captain cockwomble. I rest my case Mylord. But if we do get new owners win a trophy and get top 4 best season in a long long time.

City will smash our defence to bits, it’s comical. Absolutely. I know it sounds negative but losing Sunday could actually be a win win situation. concentrate on top 4 and along with the glazers fucking off, Sunday(if we lose)could be a nice red line drawn under their ownership.

This last glazer season is sort of a free pass but that’s it.

This game was over last week after the injuries and inevitable collapse. As frustrating as Bruno is he was a big miss tonight.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Jose won the Europa League.
It annoys me the way people overhype Erik's solitary trophy while completely discounting Jose's three trophies and 2nd place finish. Especially as these were achieved with a far weaker squad that Erik has at his disposal. And while people love to dismiss Jose as a washed up relic he's doing very good work at Roma when you consider the resources at his disposal. There are four Italian teams in the European semi-finals and Roma are currently sitting 4th place above Milan and Inter in the table. He won the Europa Conference League last season. OK a joke of a competition but the man wins trophies everywhere he goes. Tottenham the only exception but if Levy hadn't been dumb enough to sack him before the cup final he would have probably found a way to win that as well.

You have to give Ten Hag a chance to rebuild this team. People on here talking about picking Maguire, what option does he have if his first choice CBs are injured. Its a lack of options, not poor management.

I still like him and he’s the only one stopping Sevilla. Who are a reprehensible bunch of twats.

We looked lost. Like a 3yr old walking down the street looking for its mom lost.... was a pathetic display.
That being said, we were missing both of our studs in defense. We were playing a team that is 15th in their league that has continuously stacked their chips in the Europa corner, so they came in full of piss and vinegar with all the energy to put out on a team that been worked hard in a tight schedule(this is not an excuse, just a fact). No surprise Martial gets hurt. All that talk out of slab head's mouth and he looks like a youth league player out there.... dude is ass and needs to be given the boot June 1st when the season is over.

I have so many arguments with my husband over Jose. He went to Porto away in the CL when they ended up winning it that season. I think a lot of fans hold a grudge but won’t ever admit it.

Coincidence that we get those two gorms back at centre half and De Gea reverts to being a nervous wreck?
