'Saudi club Al-Nassr prepared to bid for Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka'. Get him gone. I'd rather the Saudis came in for Sancho and Antony. They should be the type of players that league goes for and they are harder to get rid of for us It does also come down to the player actually wanting to go there as well, they can't just be forced, and now with some players who've gone there starting to turn their back on it it may not be much of an option for too much longer

The Saudi league isn't the answer to our prayers. We need to get realistic and get flops off our books at whatever price we can get. And if it takes a pay-off to compensate them for the lower wages they are bound to get elsewhere then take the hit.
But of course there is no point getting rid of dead wood if Erik ends up buying equivalent crap.
If we cannot get a proper footballing director or technical director in place in time to plan sensible summer recruitment I would rather we just focus on player sales and try to turn a profit.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. So letting the Murtough/Fletcher/Erik team spend another £150-£200m this summer is a really bad idea.

Not sure why you even mention it…you know that this is never going to be allowed… My guess is either or both of Dan Ashworth and Paul Mitchell to oversee recruitment…

If they are willing to pay for a player we need off the books and the player is willing to go to that shit league to make hand over fist in money then so be it. I agree we shouldn't solely rely on them being the ones to get them off the books but shopping these players to them isn't a bad idea either.

10weeks martial is out for! How has his contract not been ripped up, would just look a PR mess if we cut him loose now, we should have said bye bye on Jan 1st

Wouldn't paying players off the remainder of their contracts impact the FFP? Hence why it makes sense to run down contract etc?

It just doesn't surprise me anymore when he pops up injured, it's expected and that is just sad.

We need someone short term. Karim the dream or choupo but I can't see how we do it with Martial's £250k a week wages still on the books

Hojlund can't play week in and week out as much as he runs around trying to get service from these clowns. We need to get a striker in, but doubtful it will happen. Benzema would be a dream though
