Bayern want to resurrect their interest in Palhinha in January so we should have another chance to sell Scotty to Fulham. And a long spell on the bench might make him more willing to make the move. In fairness, we should be looking at the Palhinha move too

I’ve certainly criticised ETH before, I think he makes occasional catastrophic mistakes. But I really don’t understand people calling for his head. We all know the rot starts at the top, he’s working for leeches in the boardroom and with over-entitled pricks on the field. He deserves backing.
United is a mess at every level. City had already appointed a bunch of Barcelona bigwigs BEFORE Pep joined. The machine was already in place, the manager was simply a component of a wider long term vision. We just parachute a manager into a bubbling cauldron of shit and hope things work out. Fuck the Glazers off and start again drom ground zero, it’s the only way.

In fairness, we should be looking at the Palhinha move too 100% but we won't, swap deal and cash would be good but just a pipe dream, anyway, sure he signed a new contract at Fulham

He signed a new contract at Fulham Probably short term wage increase/release clause. You don't go from joining Bayern to being happy at Fulham.

Give him his due at least he owned it. Won't see that from any of the others. Just excuses about how we should do better. Was a howler of a mistake but he's only just got here so deserves the benefit of the doubt for that one I think. Needs to learn from it though. This man is trying to take the full blame for us losing to Bayern.... Admirable on his part because it takes someone with real character to take that weight. While he had an absolute howler for the first goal this loss does not fall solely on his shoulders. We lost due to out right laziness, lack of commitment on and off the ball from 8 other players. It's gutless and cowardess to allow him to take the blame. I say 9 because from what I saw Reguilon and Hojlund were the only other players moving around trying to make something happen. McFred came on to the pitch and 10 minutes in was walking....WALKING after giving up the ball and letting the other team sprint at a retreated defense. They were all just standing around with a finger in their arses. ETH gets the blame and gets sacked, I'll never forgive these players for it.

“The positive is that the spirit, the fighting spirit, was there. We tried. It wasn't still enough to win the game, or to get something from the game, but at periods, the team showed great spirit. But we have to do it more often and for 90 minutes.”
Loser talk from captain Bruno.

In addition to the poor performances, someone has clearly briefed the story about DDG's exit from the club. Same story running at the same time in multiple rags. They are throwing ETH under the bus.

We know what happened. The club agreed terms then tried to squeeze him because they knew there was no interest. To his credit he called their bluff and left. Therefore costing the club 50m. The De Gea thing is a golden example of how badly we are being mismanaged. That money could have gotten us a midfield player or went along way to buying a quality striker.

Not even sure why it’s a story? We all know what happened, it wasn’t nice but it’s done and if that’s the excuse being put forward to why they can’t defend, can’t run, are mentally week and overall an embarrassment to themselves, it’s pathetic. Onana was ETH’s choice no naturally they will do anything to highlight the matter. I have even seen an article about him dropping his car keys!!!

I saw that too, when i read it i thought he must have been on a wind up, not sure what fighting spirit he was referring to!
