In addition to the poor performances, someone has clearly briefed the story about DDG's exit from the club. Same story running at the same time in multiple rags. They are throwing ETH under the bus. We know what happened. The club agreed terms then tried to squeeze him because they knew there was no interest. To his credit he called their bluff and left. Therefore costing the club 50m. The De Gea thing is a golden example of how badly we are being mismanaged. That money could have gotten us a midfield player or went along way to buying a quality striker. Think the way De Gea was treated was disgusting anyway, will never forget that. Irrespective of his mistakes he gave us so much more back 1000x over. The fact his contract was allowed to run down, that he wasn't given a testimonial or even a send off in front of the fans at the end of the season is unforgivable. But as you say shows how piss poorly mismanaged this club is.

Samuel Luckhurst @samuelluckhurst · 17m Some United players starting to take umbrage with Ten Hag’s criticism amid concern over recent tactical adjustments and growing resentment over the treatment of perceived ‘favourites’ #mufc pathetic really, just simply stinks. How long will this nonsense persist? Genuinely this is one where Murtough, Fletcher and Arnold need to go into that dressing and make clear to these scumbags that another manager will not be sacked based on player emotions, briefs and lack of effort. If they are so unhappy, be professional, talk to your agent and we can deal with their departure from there. When the going gets tough, the scum just fold and make sure they drag good people down, enough is enough.

An easy one to spot, body language, performance & effort has been shocking in recent performances from a good few,the next step was always to start to undermine ETH in the media. The wet blankets above ETH ain't going to sort it,they are all waiting for pay off's themselves. Rotten to the core!

It is a good thing this happened so early on. Erik bought himself some time by winning the Carabao Cup last season and finishing top 4. It is also clear to everyone that we are having terrible luck with injuries. So he should be able to survive the attempted coup and will hopefully be ruthless with the perpetuators. And better he finds out sooner rather than later who can be trusted in bad times.
A mistake he made was putting too much trust in Bruno and Rashford. They've got two managers sacked already and are the first to go missing during tough times and featured in all of our worst defeats over the years. And neither should be untouchable especially as we have Mount and Garnacho waiting in the wings. And both players much prefer a counter attacking style that we need to move away from if we want to improve as a team.
He needs to press ahead and make it clear that he is the manager, he decides the tactics and style of play, and players who do not get on board and follow instructions and give 100% will get dropped. And after spending £400m he should have enough of his own men to avoid a full scale revolt and if enough players get in line then the troublemakers will as well.

If the players have an issue with what Erik said after the game then they can fuck right off, everything he said below was bang on, it was all far too easy for them and has been for every other opponent up to now, take some fuckin responsabilty ffs, have a look in the mirror each and everyone of you and ask yourself if you're doing enough! not many can say they are and if you're not give yourself a slap and get the fuck on with it, roll your sleeves up and take your frustrations and anger out on the opposition and not the manager....
After the Bayern loss, Ten Hag criticised the ease with which Leroy Sane bypassed Marcus Rashford before scoring the opening goal and how Jamal Musiala burst into the United area to tee up Serge Gnabry for Bayern's second four minutes later.
"You have to look in the mirror because the goals were easy giveaways," Ten Hag said. "We were in the first 25 minutes better in the game than Munich and then that goal, it was so easy and it was not only Andre.
"If you see how easy Sane is going through and that has to do with determination, you don't let players through so easy. That is the point - we have to cross the line as an individual and as a team to win games because it started there.
"That's what I mean, you have to suffer, sacrifice in situations, to give everything and to stop that and only when we get that in are we going to win games.
"The way Sane came through can't be. And the second goal; it's almost similar over the other side. How easy players come through our box and to finish, it can't be."

I think as well as letting Dave leave it was a HUGE mistake to let Fred go. He never gave less than 100% and that was true even during Ralf's time at the club. He had a good understanding with Casemiro and his energy is sorely missed in our midfield. Obviously Amrabat is a major upgrade. But it would be good to have both in the squad and ditched Scotty this summer instead. Scotty is a total waste of space.

Luckhurst is a Glazer shill and a total c***. Always the first to help throw a manager under the bus and do the ownership’s bidding. Hateful prick.

Read an interesting take on Rashford's inconsistent willingness to expend a great deal of effort to close down, track back etc. Apparently it came from a player that played against us last season who was asked by a United supporter what he thought might be the issue, as it's clearly an obvious problem to anyone watching. the player said (allegedly)If the support can clearly see it,clearly the manager & coaching staff will be seeing it & it could well be a tactic in respect of,don't expend to too much energy & save energy for quickly hitting teams in transition once the ball is regained by those behind him. Not sure if it's true as the source is an unfamiliar one to me. if true,i'd love to know the players take of the same problem with a good few others

Just pathetic really. who do we actually think in terms of top managers will actually want this Job if ETH is sacked? More especially if the Glazers are the owners.

Maybe you get some allowance if you are prime Messi/Ronaldo level. Certainly not for Rashford.

It’s obvious something is wrong with these soft cunts, time for the club to start hitting them hard where it hurts in the pocket.
The board have to back the manager it can’t be allowed to happen again.

Amrabat, Mainoo, Casemiro will be the central mid or two of them going forward. Likely Cas and Amrabat with Mainoo getting game time as they really rate him. That all should be available from October for the Galatasary and Brentford games
Mount will likely fill in that Antony position and Bruno should get back to form, when he can play for a stretch in his preferred role and have some confidence of what's behind him! Hopefully Varane is back and fit by then as he makes a huge difference in organisation and compliments Martinez a lot better. They have a good understanding
That's a complete changed team soon and so much more balanced and energetic. It's shit now, but really should get a lot better once that team starts playing.
