How refreshing it was to watch Garnacho on the left get in a good position but then get tackled, only for him to jump up and sprint back to put pressure on a Palace player.

Enjoyed that. Pellestri and Garnacho deserve to start at the weekend, Rashford can have the weekend off.
Amrabat looks like he could be a very good player for us.
Case is back.
Nobody had a bad game, even Maguire was solid.

Pellstri needs to be starting on the right for the foreseeable. No excuse to be playing Bruno there now.
Competition for a few now aswell so hopefully will see fingers being pulled out of arses.
Casemiro starting to find his form now and Amrabat is going to be a massive player for us this season.
Although Palace were dogshit it was enjoyable for once, makes a nice change.

Amrabat will face tougher tasks but looks exactly like what we've been missing. There was zero excuse for him not being bought in July. Our start might have been very different.

Amrabat reminds me of Hargreaves. With Much stronger knees, I hope.. Aye fingers crossed! But yeah, the way he gets about, versatility. Definite shades of a fit Hargreaves about him. Thought pretty much everyone played well last night. We definitely caught them out with our setup. Both fullbacks becoming an extra man inside, lots of pressing. Best we’ve played this season by a mile. |
