Feel free to correct me but I doubt even Taibi had cost the team as much as Onana has so far.
Hands down the worst keeper (results wise) to play for us, in forever.

Even simple catches, he's knocking it into the ground. He's capable of the odd worldie but his basic game is full of holes.

I didn’t realise he was 27 so he’s in his prime for a goalkeeper but he’s bang average. File with some of his other signings or loans. mount. amrabat. reguilon. malacia(probably worth a punt at the time TBF). antony. wout.

At 3-1 up it should have been about game management this is where Eth fails all the time, the subs made things worse not better. We hang onto failed signings far too long instead of getting rid, Martial and Lindelof just two examples but there’s plenty to choose from.

It’s probably easier to name the list worth keeping. garnacho rasmus mainoo bruno shaw id just build from there.

A lot of criticism of the outfield players that I don’t quite understand from yesterday. They did their job; scored 3 superb goals and they all got done over by 2 howlers from the keeper. I even argue a top keeper doesn’t let their 3rd in either.
This is not on the outfield players. Missed chances and stupid fouls included.

The whole team and EtH can fuck off. Fucking shite finishing, shite defending and shite fucking tactics. His subs cost us. Defensively we are a disgrace. I can’t put the entire blame on them when we are so wide open in the middle every fucking game. His usage of McTominay is baffling. He basically plays as a #10 and it’s no wonder that the sitting midfielder is so isolated and exposed. It’s just unforgivable from EtH - why when we have a two goal lead is he not told to sit in and make us compact? He doesn’t, and then it’s like a fucking basketball match from end to end. EtH has banged on about control before but we literally never have it. We won 3-0 on Sunday but Everton had 24 fucking shots. It’s just not sustainable to carry on playing the way we do and it’ll only be a matter of time before we go on a shit run again.

He fumbles the ball more frequently than he catches it cleanly. Last night he fucked up for both free kicks, probably should have done better for the third, and twice when kicking out of his hands fucked it up and put us under pressure. It’s literally Taibi levels.

I must say, thus far this season this is the worst i have felt about the team, manager and club. I Genuinely feel sick. How are you 2 goals up and know you have to win and concede the way we did.? There is more than enough experience in that team for things to have been managed better, it's completely inexcusable.
Onana has massively cost us in the champions league, it's not just last night. I have been very understanding as to ETH changing keeper but thus far based on the lack of transformational play it just seems like it's a move that could have waited. I don't want to just pick on Onana too, Bruno dear oh dear and MCT come on lad, use your brain!!!! Sit and play smart. Just a real sickner and it's best we finish bottom to avoid the Europa league.

Onana was shit last night and there's no defending that, but we have conceded 14 goals in this thing so far. It's not even a tough group by any stretch and only Celtic have conceded as many 14 in the competition bloody hell that's bad. We could be at 16/17 by the end of it and that isn't down to Onana.
Last year Inter had the best defensive stats in the competition and even City struggled to score against them apart from one long range screamer and they couldn't press against him. Dave also made a whole lot of howlers last year, that absolutely cost us in the Europa and twice in the FA cup final and a couple of games in the league.
There were a host of mistakes again last night by players and manager. He should not have taken off Amrabat last night and left McTominay on when it was 3-1. If McT was going to play in front of the ball, then he could have taken off Rasmus for Mainoo instead of Martial in and left two players sitting instead of putting on Martial. Martial and McT were a mistake and it didn't make any sense at all. It opened up the game more for them and they were always going to come at us.
The free kicks were stupid and both mistakes. The first one was calamitous from the wall and the second one was given, because of stupid petulance from Bruno that he didn't need to do( he was lucky he didn't get a second yellow for kicking out) Then you had Maguire not holding the line stepping up to cause chaos and Martial ducking from the first header in that second free kick. There was a load of other shit too, but it all adds up and that's the difference between a team with smarts that wants to win and that crap last night, where they actually played well in attack against a dodgy side but once again handed the game to mediocre opposition.
How many shots or attempts peppered at the goal have we let happen in this competition? The whole defensive thing last night and control in midfield was shit again from everyone including the manager

Only 4 teams have scored more Champions League goals than United.
Only 1 team has conceded more goals.
Make it make sense. Truly a comedy club. You can’t make it up.

Last season, minus a couple of results, our defence was very good. We conceded 10 at Old Trafford in the league and got the most clean sheets. Our spine was De Gea, Varane, Martinez and Casemiro. This season our spine is Onana, Maguire, Lindelof and McTominay. No wonder we are conceding loads. I’ll keep repeating it. Maguire and Lindelof was a shit pairing 4 years ago yet they are still starting games despite the money we’ve spent during this period. McTominay still at the club is just as shocking. Don’t care if he scored. He had 8 touches in the first half.
