Not happy about it and shit timing, but these new owners are showing everyone they aren't fucking about. You fail to meet their standard, there is the door. Erik failed keep the team organized on the pitch more times than not and ultimately I think that was what did it. Too many times we looked completely clueless against teams we should have easily beat. |

Could work out for us. Might guilt trip the players into showing up for the final. And might fire Erik up so he can prove a massive point to INEOS and put himself on the shop window by going out with a bang.
I suspect it is McKenna though. We probably cannot stand Chelsea one-upping us and appointing a young British manager with the fairy tale backstory of working his way up the divisions. Especially as he used to coach us. And it will be a disaster for whichever of us end up hiring him.

The one silver lining of all of this is that it presumably rules out Southgate as I cannot imagine us waiting until the end of July to appoint a new manager as we need to plan our summer recruitment and Southgate is too true blue to moonlight for us.

I'm not sure why people are being critical of the club. If he were staying then that would have been made clear weeks ago. All these reports about waiting until after the final to make a decision are utter bullshit. The decision would have already been made and they are rightly waiting until after the final to make it official.

Bayern have lost the plot if you ask me. They have sacked 3 good managers in as many years, seem to be trying to do a back flip with Tuchel and tried to sign a non coach bullshitter in Ragnick who turned them down and now relegation Burnley Kompany. Chelsea are obviously worse, run by a bunch of egomaniacs from Hedge Fund backgrounds and we have been run by greedy idiots and the jury is out on Brexit Jim and marginal Dave.
