Dunno if Mount could maybe provide some competition on the left. Not sure he really fits into a central midfield that includes Bruno and for Chelsea he was effective on the flanks Only competition he's providing on the left, is on that side of the physio room

ive read that the club will be selling players like Hannibal, Pellistri, Diallo, etc as they deem them good players but not the ability to reach world class or good enough for the club like garnacho, mainoo, kambwala. there are players coming through the academy who have a higher ceiling.
hopefully they sell Rashford to PSG for 80-100m. not sure who they would replace him with but i do like Toney/Watkins shout as a rotation with Hojlund
Matys Tel has also been spoken about at munich but again hes another kid. wonder if munich would want to get back some money on Kane if they dont win the league...
edit : completely forgot about Kvaratshelia & Osimhen. sell & release rashford, antony, sancho, martial & greenwood and that pays for some of that transfer. especially when Napoli lose out on CL football money

The likes of Toney and Watkins would cost a relative fortune and neither would presumably be prepared to be backups to Rasmus.
And that’s exactly what they would be. Backups.

Awoniyi would be my pick, if we're looking at spending money on a PL proven back-up. But suspect you'd be looking at the thick end of £40 mill there too.

A French kid from Bayern was mentioned the other day. He can also play wide so would be the type we should go for. If we get a player who can only plat CF then he’ll only get a handful of games unless Rasmus gets injured.

My guess is the bidding war for Osihmen will be between Chelsea and PSG and I would put my money on PSG. I hope Chelsea don't get him, but if they do maybe PSG go for Rashford. He was considered the most likely replacement last year, although that year was a one off. The French league is not even top 5 anymore anyway, as the Primera Liga is considered fifth.
I'm not as anti Rashford as some, he could still do great things in that front 3, but maybe that move would suit him better. He is clearly distracted and not happy, although I don't know why that would be other than his own lack of form. He has never really liked playing with a good focal striker, so maybe a move would suit.

You have to admire Real though. They have already built a new team that looks like it can challenge for anything after Ronaldo, Benzema, Casemiro, Kroos and Modric, not to mention Varane and Ramos. 11 years since we had a team that could compete at the top
