Sell him to some other cunt and then loan him with an option to buy from them, bung them a few mil. simples. Chelsea and city would do it and get away with it. city have literally just signed a player from City Group. okay for Red Bull too..... the corruption is blatant....

And these are the guys who are supposed to have the long term vision to bring United back to the top.

Wouldn't surprise me if we were genuinely that skint that it was all a ruse from Ineos in the first place to say we were looking at cheaper options, but uefa fucked us. So we can only buy one CB
Lowball Everton with £35m, rejected, unreasonable blah blah

Also, why aren't we gonna challenge this? What's the cut off point for the percentage of a club one owns versus the other club? Ineos don't own us, they're minority investors?

the corruption is blatant.... Let’s not turn into Scousers. How's that relevant? Even those fuckers would say the same and not be wrong

Let’s not turn into Scousers. How's that relevant? Even those fuckers would say the same and not be wrong So,what, we’re saying that UEFA, who threw the book at City only for CAS to overturn it on spurious grounds, are now presumably bought off by them? Am I getting it right? The issue here imo is we didn’t think we were going to make Europe. Caino above was right, piss poor planning.

Am I getting it right? Something isn't right, and is it beyond the realms of possibility that UEFA are corrupt? God no, that could never happen 😅. Whole fucking game is bent, and money talks.

I’ve seen Guehi mentioned too. A fine player but would Palace take less piss than Everton?

A bit harsh on INEOS. They only took over end of December 23 and we had no money to spend in January because Murtough/Fletcher overspent in the two previous windows and failed to balance the books with player sales. And it is hardly their fault we failed to quality for top 4.
They've inherited an absolute mess. And with FFP they can't just throw money at the problem especially as most of our squad are unsellable.
But they are wasting their time fishing in the Premier League. The days when the smaller teams are selling clubs are long gone. Instead they hang on to their best players unless they get absolute top dollar. We'd be far better off scouring Europe where clubs need to balance the books through player sales and in many cases there are attractive release clauses.
For example we can get Inacio for £50m as he has a release clause. Zirzkee for £34m as he has a release clause. And Fofana of Monaco just has a year left on his contract so can be bought for around £25m. That is a gross spend of £110m. So even if the only player we manage to sell is Greenwood for £30m we will be within FFP limits.

Apparently Everton and Villa doing some dodgy "we'll take one of yours you take one of ours" deal with a couple of kids to get around PSR, so probably forget about Branthwaite, at least for anything like a reasonable price.

Also Greenwood to Lazio picking up steam.
30M though United want 40M. Juve also still interested. Honestly, swap him and 10M or so for Bremer, gets someone with no future at all at the club gone and a new CB in for minimal cost.
