Is Sancho coming back because there are no bids for him? I can't see him making any impact with so many players in that position and honestly can't stand his mentality

30mil Package with a 50% sell on clause. Solid business, all the best to him in his career.... hopefully he learned from his actions.

Juventus and Dortmund mooted suitors for Sancho and you'd imagine he'd be happy to join both and might compromise on wages. Problem is that both want him on loan. Maybe if they have some luck with player sales their stance might change. We also need to lower our valuation because we aren't getting £40m for Sancho especially with the wages he's on. And he's had his spell in exile so better for us to reintegrate him into the squad in case we aren't able to sell or loan him on attractive terms (e.g. with obligation to buy or a hefty loan fee) in the summer and that will also increase our chances of getting a serious offer.
I've been very impressed with the player sales this summer. INEOS's guys are much better negotiators than the last lot. We acted swiftly once it became clear Kambwala wasn't going to extend. We structured the Donny deal so we could recover a chunk of our costs if he kicks on at Girona. The Mason deal agreed with Marseilles makes good sense. And I trust that we will manage a few more similar deals to raise some more funds and get unwanted or unhappy players off our books.

Quick question: didn’t de Ligt turn us down in the last couple of years?

Quick question: didn’t de Ligt turn us down in the last couple of years? Weren’t we concerned over his dad being fat when we looked into him at Ajax?

Honestly if he really wants Madrid then that’s fine as they are a great club but if that’s the case I don’t want him here… We’ll always be waiting for him to leave… Every player in the world wants Madrid.

If you can you grab an elite talent and then worry about tying him down after a few years. If we win trophies and look like we’re finally going places then he’s just as likely to stay. We’ll never have to worry about him wanting to leave for Madrid if he actually joins Madrid this summer and I know which one is the far more preferable option.

I hope we don't wait around too long for yoro to decide, we could then potentially miss out on de ligt if he thinks we are pissing him about and then we end up spunking 80m to everton, it just seems like we have been here so many times.

This. This could turn into a Woodward transfer window waiting too long and we are back to looking like clowns again.

I hope he is as good as they say, because we're basically renewing McTominay's contract along with Amrabat and can't get rid of Casemiro. That means he'll be facing 30 shots a game and doing double the work like last years defense.

I hear what you are saying but I would hate to have another di Maria situation… I read that Yoro was willing to wait another year and join RM on a free… If that’s his thinking and his dream he will only stay with us for a brief spell… I would be very happy to be proven wrong…
