Reports saying PSG want £59m for Ugarte and not prepared to go lower. It’s a reasonable price but we probably need to raise funds quickly or else PSG might offer to him someone else as they want the money to sign Neves who apparently they will be able to get for a similar amount rather than the £100m release clause Wouldn’t be against paying £50m but paid next year with this year as a loan, or paid in instalments I think we offered 35 million euros a couple weeks ago. PSG bought him a year ago for 60 million euros, the manager doesn't want him and the club want to sell. I think 45 million is a fair deal at a push throw in 5 million of add ons.

We have 6/7 wide forwards and creative players and that's after selling Mason Greenwood and not including Bruno or Mount. We should be able to find a buyer for Pellestri, he had a good Copa and he won't cost a huge amount in salary for a mid level Spanish or Italian team or even a PL team. PSG are dull in attack with Mbappe gone and they have to pay Benfica 80M this year for Goncalo Ramos another massively overpriced Benfica generational talent! Dembele is worse than Antony, so why can't we do some sort of deal with them with Sancho for Ugarte. They are well stocked in defense and midfield. Anyway just because they paid 60m for him last year doesn't mean we have to match it, if he isn't what they want! I think he is exactly what we need, because we play a different way. We need a press resistant pit bull in defense with the energy to cover the ground and allow us to play that front foot press that leaves gaps in midfield. Ugarte is incredibly good in tight spaces and beating the press and carrying the ball forward initially, then moving it on, which is something we badly need as well as being very good defensively, covering back but also winning the ball high up. They seem to have a good relationship with PSG, through Blanc and Ineos etc, so hopefully we get something interesting done here at a reasonable price! Two good mids in and 3 out including Donnie, Eriksen and Amrabat, maybe one of Casemiro or McTominay.

I think I heard somewhere that we already tried speaking to them about Sancho and they were not interested.

All this Olmo talk, I like Olmo he has over achieved everywhere team he’s been put with very little fuss. But where would he play?
You already over spent on Mount. Maybe if you offload Mount and have an expectation that Bruno leaves next year. Rather we sign another CM box to box type. Ruiz would be the better Spanish signing for our midfield.

The Olmo links have gone completely cold.

Reports emerge that PSG are taking the piss slightly with Ugarte and within hours we are linked with Zubimendi.
I like this new regime.

The fact that normal behaviour seems revolutionary shows just how bad the clowns running the show previously were.

PSG have only offered 70m euros for Neves. They’re hoping to bully Benfica into accepting it.
We were apparently prepared to pay a similar price but Benfica weren’t having it.
For reasons unknown Neves is keen on PSG.
Makes little sense really. But if they are getting Neves on the cheap we shouldn’t pay up for Ugarte.

Dodgy as fuck dealings if he goes for 70M, we should walk from Ugarte if he costs more than half what they pay for Neves.
