PSG have only offered 70m euros for Neves. They’re hoping to bully Benfica into accepting it. We were apparently prepared to pay a similar price but Benfica weren’t having it. For reasons unknown Neves is keen on PSG. Makes little sense really. But if they are getting Neves on the cheap we shouldn’t pay up for Ugarte. they have a few Portuguese players there ? the clubs options seam to be A's Ugarte Zubimendi B's Rabiot Amrabat id be happy with a combination of any A & B

I can’t see us signing more than one midfielder.
Rabiot wont be happy warming the bench and will demand high wages. Amrabat will cost another £15m and month is tight and we’ve yet to scrape the money together to afford Ugarte or Zubimendi.
We’re going to struggle to shift Casemiro with his wages. Whereas we should be able to get £40m for Scotty. So maybe better to keep Casemiro as a squad option. He was poor last season but injuries were a contributing factor and as a backup player he might still have something to offer.

Chelsea interested in pereira and talk of a £35m offer. We’ve apparently got a 20% sell on clause. So that could be an extra £7m to top up our transfer budget!

according to Twitter this kid is supposed to be absolute top tier. amazing if the club start hoovering up all the best young talent. would love this club to be a talent factory like Dortmund, Benfica, etc but on steroids. Now Fab reporting he's gone from Arsenal.

Saw last night on twitter we are discussing terms with Rabiot's "entourage" and trying to get it done before the Tour starts.

I know I’m mostly alone on this but I like Rabiot. He’s a good player and would at least stop teams cutting through is like butter.

If you can get him on wages of about 150k a week maybe pad it out with bonuses then it's a good deal he definitely would offer more the Scotty and a 1 legged casemiro and by getting him on a free should hopefully allow us to get ugarte in.

I know I’m mostly alone on this but I like Rabiot. He’s a good player and would at least stop teams cutting through is like butter. Yeah I think he’s useful in midfield. Think people have a sour taste over the potential cost of a deal in terms of wages. We’d all take him in the interests of the squad, it’s an obvious improvement on what we’ve got. First teamer for the French. They were shit in the Euros but you can’t get into that squad as a midfielder if you’re bollocks. Also his ma’ being in charge of his career rubbed people up the wrong way. I don’t know much about him as a bloke, attitude-wise and that, but from a footballing perspective he’d be a good addition. Under the right terms.

Amad has just scored a cracker, hopefully he gets plenty of minutes this season out on the right.

Seems to be some positive noise in France about Ugarte being very close to getting done.

Casemiro has to leave the club this summer he is simply not gonna get better to a respectable level. He did great for a season and I’d rather too much damage is not done

Casemiro is only 32, i think he can do a good job coming in as a sub if Ugarte is there to cover ground.
We saw how good he can be in his first season,i think last season was partly due to his injuries.

For the money he is on, no way can the club keep him as a sub, if we are all honest it's been another absolutely terrible signing by the club once again, we need to get him gone and carry on with the clear out.
