In real time I saw this and I thought my eyes were deceiving me. They didn’t show the replay even once. Was definitely worth a referee check. In real time it's a penalty, but Eliot was covered both CB's were there and AWB didn't need to risk that lunge. Yeah there’s absolutely no reason that fucking oaf should be doing that.

In real time yes unfortunately. Contact with his back leg is a pen everyday. He just didn’t need to make that tackle In super slow mo, the cunt cheated but I agree. Just stay on your feet ffs.

28 shots against us, the most ever in the prem at OT.

That is the problem really. This season we are waaaaay too open. When we win it is usually because the opposing team isn't ruthless enough and we take our chances better. That is a recipe for inconsistent results and I simply cannot see us putting together the string of wins we need to scrape top 4 and City even on an off day will surely punish us in the FA Cup final assuming we make it that far. 28 shots against us, the most ever in the prem at OT.

Their front three were meh and defensively you know they can be got at! The big difference was in midfield and full backs on the ball. They are more organised and just pass and move better. They moved the ball so well from defense to attack through us and from midfield to our box, but they didn't do that much from there! If we could have controlled a bit better and worked the transition better and not given it away so much, you would have fancied our front three today. This is our fundamental issue. We have to cover that much ground trying to recover the ball due to our wayward passing, I am convinced this is the reason for our injuries.

Just saw TV highlights - Dalot avoids being hit by Diaz's shot for the first goal?

Wayward passing + utterly useless 'pressing' structure that always leaves a simple pass for the goalkeeper but means we have six or seven players in front of the ball who exhaust themselves chasing the opposition as they waltz through our non-existent midfield...

I can eat my words and admit I could be wrong about Kambwala, he looked good today.
That was not on any planet at PK, the fact that VAR "reviewed" and said it still was blows my mind. While giving up way too many shots again, we looked better than we did against Brentford for a full match. I guess Rashford is possibly injured now....

Pretty grim viewing and it's not the first compilation like this I've seen this season.
Should be off to Saudi in the summer.

Klopp is right about Arsenal though, even if it was a sad effort to do a shit version of Fergie v Keegan with Leeds. It doesn't put any pressure on us and it just really disses his own team
Arsenal and City are much more structured and Arsenal are very efficient with their chances. It surprises me that dippers side is at the top at this stage, but they kind of suit us this year in the way they play it's a bit chaotic and they are wasteful in front of goal, which is why their own record against the top 6 is not great this year or last either.
26th Central Defensive partnership for us this year, no left back and with your star DM playing like that, it's not surprising we give away so many chances! I actually think our center backs have been really good this year despite the constant changes and injuries, with some playing through injuries at times.
Mainoo, Garnacho look excellent and Hojlund looks like he could step up and there are some signs Mount could be like a new signing next year when fit.
We need a left back who can become the no1, a top centre back at least one major addition in midfield that can play with Mainoo and a striker( either a top level striker or another young one that can alternate with Hojlund. We probably need more but that's the minimum for next year if we have less injuries.

He had been poor all season and I cannot for the life of me understand anyone that has advocated for us keeping him another year. He is done in this team and league.

Watched the highlights last night and I am not sure it reflected the dominance of Liverpool especially in the first half.
Nice strike by Bruno but Kobbie fucking Mainoo!!!
Shades of Macheda but he is scarily good and only 18…
It’s just brilliant!
He is starting to look a little tired though but carrying the team will do that…
Can’t wait to see him with some decent players around him…
