could also have played Bruno in the false 9 again with Mount.
Maguire although played well have to get De Ligt ready for liverpool next week.
No fault of Amad being dropped but hes not garnacho level yet
Minteh looks superb so dalot has to be on it, but theyre not as strong as they were in the middle.

Hard to say how this season will pan out so games like this are going to be difficult to predict.
I’m looking forward to see how we get on this season but I’m totally aware that we still have loads to do and we will have mixed results.
For me we have nearly completed stage 1 of a 3 stage rebuild(each stage undertaken over the summer transfer windows).
Stage 1. Football people running the club,4-5 players in and some shite and high earners shipped out.
Stage 2. We will need another 3-4 players in, more shite shifted and asses the managers position.
Stage 3. The last of the underperforming shite cleared out 3-4 in and we should be eating at the top table of European football again.
Saying that I’m helping my youngest move into her first house today so I will not be able to watch the game.

At least Amad is getting some gametime. But ridiculous that players like Maguire, Mount and Rashford are getting selected. Hopefully it is just because they had more of a pre-season than the others and they will be quickly phased out as the season progresses.

He's made it clear that Zirkzee was a little way off full match fitness a few times so maybe he's better starting from the bench, and I guess Maguire's just a sfaer option (who has been playing well) as De Ligt settles in. I hope I'm right, anyway as I particularly have little faith in Bruno and Mount up front. |
