If you start Ugarte ahead of that back four it would hold up a lot better. Staring back four where shit all of them! de ligt and Martinez are not a good pairing and Dalot is weak defending at LB. Trying to work out his absence.

United are winless in their last five matches in European competitions, despite leading by two-plus goals in three of them.
United have now failed to win each of the last four occasions they have led by two goals in a European match.
It’s just a complete comedy club at this stage really. The things we have witnessed over the last 10 years. Just no explanation anymore.

Martinez for their third goal was scarily bad. I didn't realize he was that slow.

Failed to win in 23 of the last 30 games in PL and Europe combined.. Been thinking to myself not a chance this is true. Can't get my head around such a woeful stat. But we did win a trophy in that time so trust the process.

Everyone is understandably complaining about Dalot's performances at LB and bemoaning Shaw's inability to stay fit. Well we had a promising young left back Alvaro Fernandez Carreras. Instead of giving him a chance Erik preferred to bring in Reguilon on loan so Carreras went to Benfica did well enough for them to exercise their option to buy set at just £5m and this season he's established himself in their first team and was the standout performer the other night as they thrashed Atletico Madrid 4-0.

If you look at Chelsea they were a laughing stock last year. They’ve bought a gaggle of various players without a direction or system, and it looks like their manager is making progress in a short amount of time, key is results. Slot at Liverpool has come in and looks extremely competent, and talks tactics like he’s been in the EPL half a decade. Meanwhile, our manager admitted a year ago he will never implement the “system” he made his name with, and we’re still seemingly working towards something on the field what that is I don’t know, and the results are lacking. We are so far behind it’s laughable.

Dalot has gotten worst with each passing game this season. I won’t blame him too much, he simply is not an effective LB at the level required. Surely we are better playing an actual LB in Amass. This thing with Dalot is Darmian all over again, it’s simply poor management.
The knock on effect of Dalot being a natural LB and moving into the midfield is Licha being massively exposed

Rashford has been generally shit for some time so the one good game he does manage to have our clueless manager hooks him at half time.

Rashford has been generally shit for some time so the one good game he does manage to have our clueless manager hooks him at half time. Aside from Spurs I don’t think he’s done badly individually of late. He’s at worst looked bright in all the other games surrounding that shite. Taking him off at half time after a goal and an assist because the other team are attacking down that side is fucking insane. He’s borderline blaming him for the goals we’ve conceded. At the end of 90mins, Rashford was still 1st for touches in the opposition box and successful take ons. Says it all about that substitution really. Amad offered nothing on the right and to be honest, isn’t involved enough in games. Should’ve been looking at that. You can’t say the person who has scored and created our two goals in 45mins hasn’t defended enough. Rough with the smooth init. The lad behind him at LB is an utter bag of shit, but starts every week. Can’t wait to aimlessly bomb forward, but won’t apply half that effort the other way. Beating his chest like a tosser. Towards the end of the second half, Jonny Evans got back quicker than Dalot did. Embarrassing that. It was another shit, clueless substitution which will also cause problems likely behind the scenes and bring on more media attention and therefore pressure with it.

He’s got absolutely no redeeming qualities left. That Maguire saved him from a total embarrassment is sheer dumb luck.

Rashford has been one of our better performers this season and last night looked like he could beat his man with ease and was scaring the shit of their defense with his pace. He also scored a goal and had an assist. Smells of a half-time dust up with Ten Hag. And yet again his subs significantly weakened the side in an attacking sense.
