By the time the season starts Im sure ALL United fans will be supporting Ronaldo and Rooney for United As far as I'm concerned I'd be very happy to se the back of Ronaldo - he is a disgrace. I think he purposely wanted to get Rooney sent off because it will make his move to Real Madrid all the more easier. As a Man United fan, even I hate him.

if anyone puts england over utd.. then ur supportin the wrong team.. nobody knows what ronaldo's intentions are (when he joined in with the other portugese players shoutin) and so to want to get rid of one of our best prospects cos of an issue to do with england is jus madness.. rooney will get over it, hes not some prima dona knob head who takes himself that seriously.. yeh hes probably pissed about it now (although i wouldnt believe a word of wot the likes of the star and mirror have to say about it ) but it will all blow over.

For me its not that I want to get rid of ronaldo whatsoever because he is clearly one of the outstanding young talents in the game but with all the recent speculation around him and madrid coupled with his attitude during the game its blatantly obvious to me that this guy wants to join madrid, what I am pissed off with is this bleedin madrid election its a joke with all the candidates rolling out all these supposedly done deals with no respect shown towards the clubs those players are employed by and unsettling their players. #shakehead# I don’t think you can blame ronaldo as he said he had an ambition to play for madrid in the future and unfortunately he became a pawn in this villar mirs election campaign, I think he showed a lot of naivety in believing all the yarn this villar span him and may well find himself in a difficult situation now where the candidate who promised him the world has lost to a rival with no apparent interest in him. As far as united are concerned it all depends on whether ronaldo is mentally prepared to return to us and give us the type of commitment he showed for his national side on saturday which I personally doubt.

before we all start accusing this player and that.. lets not jump to conclusion.. since England are out, I expect Wayne to give a interview to say Sky Sports or even MUTV .. if so lets see what Wayne has to say, as I am sure Wayne will not lie and be upfront and honest about all this Ronaldo issue....
also come Wednersday Portugal will be out of the World Cup (France are looking solid and cant see Portugal winning).. so lets see what transpires in the next week or so.. when are players back for pre-season training then.....
I am sure Gary Neville, Rio will be witness to what exactly transpires on the pitch.. so before we start a hate crime on Ronaldo, lets gather the evidence and see what occurs over the next few weeks.

Can't blame Ron for having a go... I would have done exactly the same!
You cant 'stand' on someones nads - thru rage - and expect to get away with it.
The other side of course is that Englands best player looses his rag and an opportunity arises to get him off the pitch - Ronaldo did not need to do anything - the ref's decsion was already made... Erickson confirmed this last night...
Get behind the team - fuck england - theres only one Utd!!!!!

Another thing if Ron has any balls (?) then he should turn up at pre season and face ROO & RUUD...
But I suspect he will run away to Spain...

A lot of people have jumped on ronaldos back because he hasnt shown the commitment to utd that fans crave, if during this whole issue with madrid ronnie had come out and expressed his desire to stay with united and that he had no intention of leaving for madrid in the near future he would have had the full backing of united fans after saturdays game but as that isnt the case i think some are just trying to get the boot in first so if he does indeed move to madrid they can say well i didnt want him here anyway, we rejected him not the other way round. this isnt how i feel btw i want him to stay and carve out a great career at utd, this is just my opinion on why so many fans have lashed out. everyone makes mistakes at the end of the day and just to add another cliche may he without sin cast the first stone.

i want him to stay, but we have yet to hear rooneys side which will be sent to fifa on thursday on his accounts on the event. a quote on sky sports said ronaldo had spoke with g neville and rio and they had no problems but will not apologise to rooney but will speak to him by phone.
if he goes it will be a blow for a united team ready to again rule the decade.
i am also concerned with the lack of transfer rejection we seem to be getting (i know its problem just the papers but still....)

People are kidding themselves if they believe Manchester United would allow/push Ronaldo to leave O.T. after what happened at the World Cup. Fergie as a Scot will be happy England are home and Rooneys not injured. And Ive said it already today that if Rooney progresses as Beckham did after his sending off in 98 then the futures bright. i want him to stay, but we have yet to hear rooneys side which will be sent to fifa on thursday on his accounts on the event. a quote on sky sports said ronaldo had spoke with g neville and rio and they had no problems but will not apologise to rooney but will speak to him by phone. if he goes it will be a blow for a united team ready to again rule the decade. i am also concerned with the lack of transfer rejection we seem to be getting (i know its problem just the papers but still....)

I want Ronaldo to stay. I’m fed up with the English press now; I’ve taken enough of their bullshit for far too long now. The bottom line is both Ronaldo and Rooney have said there’s no hard feeling in statement from them both, and texts apparently between the two. I’d rather believe them than the sun or the mirror.
And the reports of him going to Madrid are all bollocks anyway. The candidate who wanted him – Villar or what ever his name is – has lost, so he won’t be leaving now unless there is a bust up, which is unlikely. If he does go I’m not fussed, we can get some good money for him and buy Ribery and Kerlon. I’d be moderately satisfied with that,

Agreed CC, what it is is that some United fans and football fans will say Waz and Cris are lying and believe the red tops... ;D

let me just say.....most foreign players are only here for the money.....I think Ronaldo is in that bracket.....I used to like the guy...would defend him cos he is a gifted footballer....not anymore...I don't like the guy..I think most Utd fans who I speak to feel the same....the guy has overstepped the mark...I saw it with my own 2 eyes last saturday.......it's as simple as that......I've been folowing United for 40 years....I've seen peole come and go.....Ronaldo has bitten off more than he can chew here....Ronaldo...just go to Madrid....you cheating bastard...
