I dont' see Evra starting over Silvestre. He didn't really show any convincing displays last year, granted he never got many opportunities to display his abilities.

I’m not keen on Mikel as much as I used to be, he lacks in concentration on too many occasions. He scares me when he is on the ball. But I’m sure its just a matter of gaining his confidence again.

I can’t wait until Gabby is back though!

i think fergie may consider startin evra, i mean, he does need to rpve himself and we did pay a fair bit.....

but what a choice of centre halves we have

rio, brown, vidic, silvestre and if need be o'shea.......that is quality in depth in my view

He'll probably play Silvestre... I think he'll be looking for stability, and as a player Evra is still adapting to United's play and I don't think Sir Alex would want to use the first match of the season to see if Evra is going to fit in or not.

I don't mind Silvestre on the left, as long as he's not in the middle, as his mind's too offensive to make a decent central defender anymore. Agreed with Dean though... cannot wait to have Heinze back!

agree with missunited, i just think evra needs to prove himslef, give him a chance in the league cup games maybe? i dunno....its important we dont fuck up....im sure everyone remebers Evra's first game.....that game also featured silvestre in the middle.....

i love we brown, i rwally do, but i kinda feel sorry for vidic, he done bloody well last season, and now he looks like being second fiddle to brown.....ah well, goes back to wait i said about having such strong depth in defence,,,,,
