Song of the day "Are you Citeh in disguise" after twenty minutes and being 4-0 up, knowing all those bitters would be sat in the pub watching us whilst waiting for their team to get dicked by the Chavs!! we sang "Are you Citeh in disguise" at the pub too...LOL. There were some citeh fans there waiting for their match. When the chavs showed up we started singing "S*** ON THE CHELSEA"

Great result and a decent performance - but lets not get too carried away, Fulham were absolutely shite! Definate relegation candidates, doubt we'll see a worse team at OT all season.
It was like a catalogue of errors at times, 10 yard passes going out of play, players getiing in each other's way, marking none existant.
It was a pity that United weren't more ruthless, there was more goals on offer there, could have really put the shit up Chelsea with 8, 9 maybe even more, Fulham really were that bad.

Chelsea and Manchester United must have breathed a sigh of relief when the fixture list for this season came out.
The big clubs, the ones who expect to be challenging for trophies come March and April, always leave themselves a bit short at the start of the season so what they want is to open their campaign at home against a mid-table side.
The last thing they want is an away trip to a promoted side, which is exactly the challenge Liverpool faced against Sheffield United on Saturday.
The promoted club is usually flying at the start of the season. You've got that surge of energy from the previous season, the fitness levels are high and there's a buzz of anticipation around the place.
Come November, it's usually a different story and they're a bit softer after being beaten a few times.
The most important thing for any team, promoted or otherwise, playing one of the big clubs is not to concede an early goal.
Fulham were 4-0 down inside 20 minutes while Manchester City went behind after 11 minutes and there was no way back. -------------
Just a bit of what Alan Hansen had to say in regards to the opening games of the Premiership season.
See what he says about Livershite and how they’re excused from drawing with Sheff Wed, he’s a complete dickhead too.

The excuses are coming out already for Liverscum, I mean ffs if your supposed to be challenging for the title it shouldn't matter when you play a promoted team you should be beating them, just complete bollocks from Hansen as per usual.

Shef utd! Dunno who watched the game but Liverpool were shite, definately not contenders this year not serious ones anyway. Shef Utd were good, worked hard and didn't deserve to lose, and if it wasn't for Mr transfer request diving in the area, Liverpool would have lost! They were all over the place Fowler was a joke infront of goal and must have fallen over 6/7 times

Oh since when does Alan Hansen know the first thing about anything. Watching him on tv makes me want to throw things at the screen.

Evzy had a quality game, he reminds me a bit of a Paul Parker, his timing on his challenges was spot on, and I think that will give Sir Alex a headache of who to play in the left back position when Gabs is back. Different performance especially in the 1st half, shame we had to concede, though great start to the season and I’m buzzing with the scouse and the cockneys dropping points, shame the blue scum couldn't do anything against the Russians though, oh well. I feel proper confident after watching the game, I think it’s daft as anything that Scholes and Rooney are out for 3 games, though it just goes to show you the lack of common sense and how the English FA don't protect there own players, bring on the cockney Charlton that’s what I say.
