Anyone would think this was the last match of the season, Citeh look as if they can’t be bothered anymore. At this rate I can see Chelsea scoring 4, or even 5 if Citeh don't pick it up. !

Entertaining game today, we could have scored 10 if we wanted too but understandably we took it easy after the first 20 minutes, I'd be interested to hear from anyone that went to the game what atmosphere was like because it didn't sound great on TV which is a shame because I think the team would have fed off that and scored a lot more, just look at when Solskjaer came on, the crowd picked up and then we scored the 5th goal and played with a better tempo. Still a fantastic result for the first game of the season lets hope it continues in the next 3 games. #unitedbanner#
Michael Brown was disgraceful he could have seriously injured Giggs with that stamp, and to think that Rooney and Scholes are going to miss our next three games for what they did compared to that....well to say it annoys me would be an understatement, fcucking FA cnuts !!
Stopped watching the Chelsea game after the first goal as I realised Citeh had fools like Thatcher and Weaver playing.

well i cant express how happy i am to see us start off so well... think about it mates we have liverpool and arsenal with a point and spurs with none.. only chelsea were a big club with a win besides us on opening day.. it could be a good season, intresting too.
winning today will put alot less pressure on ferguson to deal the right players in knowing that his team will perform and have confidence to our next match...
they just cant take the scoreline too literally and keep their heads in training
another thing skysports predicted the game to be a 2-2 tie.... BS

Chelsea 3 - 0 Citeh (Terry, Lampard, Drogba) Grr!!
Well I guess with Liverpool and Arsenal only getting a point, we couldn't have had all the luck and expected Chelsea to only get a point, could we?

Sheva made it 4 - 0 but the flag was up for offside.

We looked great today and at the end of this game week we looked the better side PERIOD. For all of the papers slighting us this should be a wake up call. Arsenal and Liverpool being touted as top teams and all they could muster are draws against a team that last year was not far from relegation and another who just got promoted. No offense meant against Villa or Sheffield, but the way journalists were writing about how great Liverpool's done at signing players you'd think they'd be able to earn a goal off of a play rather than Gerrard's "tumble" in the box....the scousers stole themselves a goal, good going. #Wa# Either O'Neill's a genius or the gooners are rubbish....I think it's just that the French team in London isn't worth the new stadium it plays in. Nice shot Mellberg, do you think they'll put up a plaque for you as the first goal scorer in 2006/2007 season?

Man it's good to go to games like that again. What the hell happened between Brown and Giggs? looked like he did Giggsy.
Rooney, Ronaldo and Evra were top drawer today. Let's hope Evra can retain that kind of level and Ronaldo can retain that kind of level of teamwork.
