Brilliant performance, I realise that Fulham are a dyre team at the moment, but the bottom half teams are the ones we usually struggle against, so this is a great result. Great seeing how well Rooney and Ronaldo's working together, Scholes and Giggs looking strong too. Evra for the first time didn't look lost playing left back for us and an overall good performance!

yea, it was a gr8 game, and i guess we should have scored more goals.
as for Evra, he played really well. same as Scholes, who nicely controlled the midfield

Yeah Fulham or not, to score 5 in our first game would have certainly shut a few critics up. It’s a shame about the own goal by Rio, as a clean sheet would have been nice for VDS.
A little odd that Alex didn’t take off Scholes and Rooney, seeing as we miss them for the next few games. He should have played the players he expects to replace them, to see how they do.
So as things stand we’re top of the Premiership, now lets hope Citeh can inflict some damage on Chelsea.

march on saha! and oh our rooney and ronaldo together again! is it really any wonder why we pack this forum for hours?.. why we fill the grounds with a sea of red near bursting with pride? watching them play, pure beauty; and I wonder how anyone could do but be a red for life.
great match! we love the boys! #cheers#

Fantastic start to the season. Chelsea need to win by four goals or more to start the season top of the table. The pressure is right on them now. I expect Citeh to give them a tough game. I was half-expecting Fulham to give us a tough game.
How Fulham's Brown stayed on the pitch is beyond me. He could very easily have broken Giggsy's leg and he must have knew before he went in he wasn't going to get the ball. The referee gave a yellow card. I know referees are a lot more strict now than they used to be, but if that only warranted a yellow, what have you got to do to get a red?
That's my only rant.
Great start, I'm delighted, we start the season as we mean to go on, top of the pile. Excellent. Chelsea, bring it on!

Anyone else watching the Chelsea game? Citeh are trying to make Chelsea play at a fast tempo, closing them down at every opportunity. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted Citeh to win a match as much as I do now. Ha.
