Following up the game with Celtic, United face Arsenal at Old Trafford. A tie in past seasons that would have been labelled as the title decider, remember the Battle of Old Trafford? Battle of the Buffet? Keane vs. Vieira in the tunnel? These games were the highlights of the season, not any more though. Things have changed. Arsenal are nearer 20th position than 1st and United are 1st after four games there could be a lot of change on the way. With Vieira, Keane, Ruud, Bergkamp, Pires et al gone it would appear that these games no longer hold that hate factor that the others did. United need to win to maintain a 100% win record, the only one in England intact whilst Arsenal, this being their fourth game, need to win to get their first three points of the season or risk slipping into the relegation zone and being a massive thirteen points behind United after just a month of domestic football. So people, expect Arsenal to try and get the win at OT something they've not done for a while and expect United to go for the kill from the off. Rooney will be back as will Scholes from their bans, Ronaldo will have been rested midweek and Heinze, Vidic and Smith could all be in line for returns. Henry will also miss Arsenal's Champions League tie so could be a doubt for L'Arse. This is my XI bar injury and the FA : Van Der Sar
Neville - Ferdinand - Brown - Evra
Solskjaer - Scholes - Carrick - GiggsRonaldo
Rooney - Saha Prediction: 2-0 UNITEDI can't get a ticket for this, well it seems that way with four days until the game so I may be enjoying this one with you all at my PC with the telly on. First home game I'm going to miss this season, bastard ballots. C'MON UNITED!

I'd stick with Evra at left back, pourely because he has an extra turn of pace that Heinze doesn't, and Arsenal have alot of quick players.

Only problem is Evra isn't that good defensively and therefor is more likely to make a mistake that could lead to conceding a goal. He's been making mistakes against lesser opostion, mistakes we cannot afford to make when facing the likes of Arsenal.

I mean Silvestre made more mistakes in one game against Watford than Evra has in 3 games. I'm not arguing or anything, but I feel throwing El Presidente in a big game when not 100% when we've got a solid back four that's not conceding many would be a mistake. By all means I'd like to be proved wrong, but I;d like to see us go into the game with an un-changed winning side.

Silvestre has been making mistakes for years to be fair, I'd rather see Evra instead of Silvestre. But if Heinze can cope, I think he will do a better job at 80percent than Evra will be giving 100percent.

Really looking forward to this one. I think if Arsenal still had some of the old school players remaining, like Vieira and Cole, their team might have a bit of fight in them. Might have had more motivation to beat us. But really, cant see United getting anything other than a safe 3 points from this. We might actually have our first choice XI playing, which would be absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to see our attack charging in to the box like we did on opening day. Want this to be a really embarrassing result for the Gooners, with their odds on relegation increasing!

I'm 100% with Scott on this one. Arsenal may not be the force they once were BUT they are still Arsenal and that has to be worth a good drubbing in anyones books!! I work with a stack of Gooner fans, so a comprehensive thrashing will allow me to walk round like a peacock at work for a couple more days.

I can't tell you all how excited I am about this fixture! While I'm not taking ARSEnal for granted because they have quality players with the pace and quality to turn any mistake into a goal, they're just not an effective team. They know they HAVE to win so they'll bring something special I'm sure, but I just don't think it'll be special enough to contend with our starting line which has proven it can deliver success thus far. I'm not bothered by Henry starting or not because he has been a non-factor; granted they've had a large amount of shots on goal but if you can't convert than that doesn't mean much of anything especially when facing a better defense than they've faced so far. This game is ours to lose so the lads need to practice practice practice then get out there and level these jerks!
#devilfinger#
I'll be at the pub heckling the HELL out of the gooners that show up...they're really going to get it from us this go around...I'm going to start training my throat tomorrow so it'll be match fit. #flex#

It says on BBC Sport that Giggsy will be out for 3 weeks with a hamstring problem.

It says on BBC Sport that Giggsy will be out for 3 weeks with a hamstring problem. click meAh we will still beat them. I've been positive since before we signed anyone in the window, so I shall remain positive throughout the season, and we will win the league! beating Arsenal, rent boys and the scouse scum on the way!

Toure could be out for Arse though, they are really looking thin in defence if thats the case.

Wont be easy... I think close with maybe a 1-0 ?
Then again I remember thinking that before a 6-1 drubbing....
