the last half an hour was painful. those Arsenal kids are just technically better than O'Shea, Fletcher and Saha. They kept it. We couldnt. It was a carbon copy of last seasons Villareal games. If teams stop us playing at our pace, we cannot out-pass them. We DESPERATELY needed some clever midfield/striker investment last season (Hello classy passers Riquelme and Mascherano), and we didnt get them. Yes we'll have some great moments through this season, but in the end it wont be any different to last. saha is technically gifted! saha also worked hard in the game shame on you saha played well and i thought he and neville were our best players against arsenal we sure did miss giggs in the game too! if giggs had played we would have won it but hey we didnt and now we move on to the next game lets just hope the players redeem themselves and beat reading because make no mistake that will be a hard game!.

gutted with the result.. but we needed somethin to sort our heads out. i mean, there arent many teams id less like to lose to.. but u know that defeat will have hurt our boys badly.. and so they should come back pumped up for our next game. rooney really needs to get on it. giggs has been great so far this season.. and now its time for someone else to take on the role of our inspirational creative player.

I been away a while and haven't heard anything other than the score for this match. Can someone summarize the match for me coz I cannae be arsed reading all this thread? I can't believe the score though. Like we kept saying last year we always seem to trip up against the little teams.
