At the end of the day though, they have the memory of seeing John O'shea make Lehmann look a twat at Highbury a few seasons ago lol.
No doubt today was piss poor, hopefully the team will bounce back and give Reading a good spanking, they like to play attacking football which should help us.

It was actually Almunia playing in the place of Lehmann, but nonetheless the keeper looked like a twat. We'll beat reading 3-0 or 4-0 and get back on top once Pompey lose

I hate to say it… but I told you so. I tried to rubbish the 3 – 0 predictions from people. Not only did I say I wasn’t looking forward to this match at all, I also predicted a 1 – 0 win to Arsenal in the predictions league. We got what we deserved today, as we were disgustingly terrible. We crumbled at the first hard hurdle. Oh well.

not the best of performances .. definetely one that will be hard to swallow especially that it's a home defeat to arsenal .. but they deserved it more than we did, simply because they wanted it more than we did ..
sloppy playing in the midfield especially by O'shea who gave the ball away on many occassions... and i think had Carrick started , he would have definetely been more efficient, no matter how many arsenal midfielders there were, we definetely needed someone who by breaking up a play can quickly create something , unlike O'shea..who breaks plays but then gives the ball away ..
Ronaldo is much better on the right hand side of midfield... when he's on the left side he seems to get closed in too quickly by defenders, and i'm sure if he would have given gallas a much tougher time than fletch ( rubbish again .. )
anyways bring on reading .. this defeat will definetely get the players up and running in full force .. Come on United !!!!

i have been saying all week not to underestimate arsenal as they ar a top four team... they have been unlucky this season so far and just needed a break and they got that today you have to remember we had a great start to the season 5-1 yes but the next game at charlton not too bad we didn't play to well in the first half. the game against watford was a fight so was spur they were unlucky not to score against us and celtic gave us a run for our money ...so how you people perdict 3 and 4 nil score lines today against a top team i wonder do you know much about football at all........i am so disappointted our players were just not ready although our supportters think we are invincible we are still two players short of a premier and champions league winning side in my opinion having a hargreaves or a torres to come on instead of carrick and ole would have made a big difference... i don't mean anything against ole and carrick to be honest i would have had them on from the start and replaced them with a hargreaves or a torres and that is what will make use a team that can challenge for every thing

Fuckin dreadful performance. Shockingly bad. Maybe I'm biased, or have red tinted specs, but I thought Arsenal were equally as dreadful. Both teams deserved 0 points today.
Wtf is up with Rooney? He needs to sort his head out.
And wtf is up with giving Poll as ref when these teams meet. Did they not learn from Toure's keeper save last season? Lehmann purposefully picks up the ball outside the area to stop Rooney, and only gets a yellow? And a penalty awarded for no contact? Poll is a joker, and I'm looking forward to 11 vs 11 at the Emirates, hopefully with no Poll playing Arsenal's 12th man.

I can safely say that was the worse game i've ever attended at OT. Fucking shambles of a performance- careless in every way. One thing that really puzzles me is that we spent a fortune on a central midfielder only to then bench him and revert back to the shit midfield of last season logical! outplayed and deserved to lose. Perhaps from now on the players and manager will concentrate on what they do on the pitch and shut the fuck up about telling us what they are going to do and what the fans should do. Top performance by the fans and lets face it not reciprocated by the players and manager.

Its not like Poll has ever given a player three yellow cards or anything...Oh wait he did....why is he stil a ref?

here is how i see it
we started the game off flying. rooney was involved cristiano was using his speed and things were clicking.. then lehhman got himself in trouble. should have it been red. maybe. but good pressure by wayne.. then tommy got in trouble in the back but then he saved the pk.. me i think it was a dive he felt the contact so he fell.. hes a gunner who cares.then the game slowed down and there was some good opputunities for us.. cristiano should have had a goal today no doubt. he had a decent game but plenty of mistakes..
another turning point in the game was the bringing on off mr evra... after starting the season off so well he played badly today...he wanted to attack.. he forget which league he was in and what team he was playing.. in the second half things got real bad.. suddenly rooney looked like john oshea with his lack of a 2nd or 3rd touch and are set pieces were wasted .. the game went back and fourth between the two teams and then ronaldo forgot that we had no defensive capabilities thanks to the subing and lost the ball. wham bam goal we loose
the heroes today id say kuszczak and neville.
im still waiting for rooney to come back from suspension.. he plays but i just dont see the fire in him..
