We needed goals, not chances and possession. No excuse today at all. We should have won. Somebody made a thread before the season started on ‘where will united finish’ I said 2nd and I’ll still echo that now. As each game of the season has gone on, we’ve been worse. The results show that. At least I did well with today’s prediction league. Exactly. We could have 100 chances and 99% possesion but that means absolutely nothing if you can't get a goal. I almost feel like we ended up with ARSEnal's form before they played us.... What I find the most concerning is what 7even pointed out about our form getting worse with each performance. Credit to Reading for defending everything we threw at them, but we just lacked an edge in finishing which means we're going to have to pull some magic against Benfica.

shut up danish red u probably have never been to old trafford and your just a glory hunter, born and bred United me Can we have less of that please? People say things in the heat of the moment, when they’re worked up. --------- It makes me laugh when people try and pick positives out of a shitty situation. Who cares how many chances we had, or how many times Rio and Vidic felt each other up, a crap result is a crap result.

Just Home and to the amazement Reading are a decent team that wil stay up and possibly top ten finish and also they are very strong at home and on our way their i said a win great but a draw fine and chelsea and arsenal both have to go thier and i guarentee theyll struggle for 3 points cant disagree with that

Most of the 'chances' we had were shots from outside the area....and that was because we didn't have a striker on the pitch for 70 mins of the game to pass to in the box.

my player ratings out of 10
van der sar 7 played well nearly saved the penalty too neville 6 not one of his better days gave away a penalty ferdinand 7 solid vidic 7 solid heinze 6 too many free kicks given away ronaldo 8 was our best player going forward scholes 6 started well but like rooney needs more games fletcher 7 did his job carrick 6 shaky passing richardson 5 missed a sitter and was off colour rooney 6 will get better when his match sharpness comes to him showed some fight saha 7 did well when he came on caused problems for readings backline solskjaer 5 played out wide when he came on thats not where he plays best o shea 6 steady when he came on
thats my honest thoughts about how we played but feel free to put how you thought our lads did

Just goes to show what a class act Giggsy is,Utd looked flat again without him .With the present line up and lack of activity in the transfer market during pre-season 4 wins a loss and a draw from the first 6 matches is not too bad. This team was never capable of pushing Chelsea this season so cant be too disappointed with todays performance as wouldnt of expected much else....

5 points dropped over 2 games and in my opinion all 5 caused by the manager, bad subs last week and wrong team this week, Cane me for it as you have done in the past but by the end of the season there will be a few more on here tired of his mistakes,

we simply have to many poor players, players who surrender possesion when we are trying to apply pressure on the other team, its not there fault they are not good enough but the fault of the manager for picking them, fletcher oshea richardson solskaer (not a bad player just finished) would not get in any other top 4 team, today again proved the squad is poor
