We didn't create enough in the final 3rd and when we did we didn't take our chances. These are the sort of games we need to be winning but a couple of injuries hit and we are back to messing them up like last season. It's worrying that a 33 year old Giggs is still a major influence. God knows what will happen when he retires.

We needed goals, not chances and possession. No excuse today at all. We should have won. Somebody made a thread before the season started on ‘where will united finish’ I said 2nd and I’ll still echo that now.
As each game of the season has gone on, we’ve been worse. The results show that.
At least I did well with today’s prediction league.

Just Home and to the amazement Reading are a decent team that wil stay up and possibly top ten finish and also they are very strong at home and on our way their i said a win great but a draw fine and chelsea and arsenal both have to go thier and i guarentee theyll struggle for 3 points

Another shitty performance. Nev played like a twat, Rooney was shit, only a slight improvement on his two last rubbish games. Ronaldo and Fletcher didnt play well. The main problem is our passing, which for reading and arsenal has been utter shite, no quality passes and our touches are too heavy. PLEASE COME BACK GIGGS, YOU ARE THE ONLY GOOD PLAYER AT THE MOMENT! You cannot say it was a shitty performance, We had the main majority of the posession and a shit load of chances, credit where its due and Reading were fighting for their bitter lives in the end no it really was a shitty performance. We are Manchester United, the greatest team on earth. Reading are reading....Yes reading did play well but the greatest team on earth should be beating teams like this and challenging for the title instead of playing like a bunch of twats

I was disappointed with Nev i feel that we would've won if Saha could've started but Reading defended very nicely i didn't even know you could fit that many players inside the penalty box. Vidic looked good, Fletchers improving, Rooneys getting there, Heinze was lucky not to get booked and he played decently which is good considering his injuries, VDS saved superbly and came close on that penalty and Rio wasn't sleeping. I'll blame this result on Readings luck even though they deserved a point for the fight they put up. It was nice to see a Icelander captain a team in the PL ;D

Rooney and Ronaldo were our only good players. The others didnt really seem to care or work as hard as those two. The penalty was a shitty call, too, but we cant always blame the ref; we played poorly...
What is it with Utd always getting poor results against the shitty teams???

dammit. what the fuck was that shit? where was our final ball. all game long reading intercepted us before we could create anything in the box. richardson was cocking up the entire time he was on. my dog could have scored that sitter that he missed. just goes to show how much we miss giggsy. ronaldo was fabulous. great goal. towards the end when there were 4 or 5 minutes left we should have had a greater sense of urgency. but ferdinand and vidic were still fannying about passing the ball back to VDS. WTF!!! rooney was a mere spectator. fletch unconvincing as usual. kudos to heinze and vidic i thought they were pretty good especially heinze. carrick was ok at some points. nevs seemed to lose it a bit after conceding the penalty.2 points behind chelsea now. the only way i see united overtaking them is if we beat them when we meet them...but with our shit passing, not fucking likely.when chelsea play badly, they still get 3 points. that's the diff b/w them and united currently. please come back soon giggsy we need you. by the way where was smith? thought he might make an appearance today seeing how he was on the bench against arsenal.

Bollocks! Fergie's reading from the Sven book of managerial incompetence yet again. 4-5-1 against them...and with Rooney up front on his own! Careless performance and decision making costs us again.
