United travel up to Birmingham for a clash against Martin O'Neill's revitalised Villains. Last season Ruud van Nistelrooy and Wayne Rooney scored a goal a piece as United comfortably beat Villa 2-0, this season though Villa have got a new manager, O'Neill who has got the team playing with more belief. The introduction of youngsters like Agbonlahor and Osbourne added to the signature of Petrov has boosted a Villa side also owned by Americans. They've been to the Emirates and Stamford Bridge and come out with 1-1 draws on both occasions and will provide a stern test for a United side on the back of only their second league defeat. Park Ji-Sung and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have returned for a United side who top the league by two points, a side who will be looking to bounce back and maintain that lead. Adam's XI:Van Der Sar
Neville - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Scholes - Carrick - Giggs
Rooney - Saha Subs: Kuszczak, Heinzé, Fletcher, Park, Solskjaer Aston Villa will possibly play a 4-5-1 formation, with Agbonlahor and Baros supporting a lone striker, either Sutton or Angel. In McCann, Petrov and Osbourne they have three central midfielders who will battle and scrap for all balls and also provide the front men with support. Prediction: United to bounce back with a hard fought victory. Saha and Rooney on the scoresheet, 2-0 United.

There's something about Villa Park which makes it more neutral than in Villa's favour for me, nice place to play. 3-0 United, we'll bounce back here, no doubt.

I think your spot on with your prediction adam 2-0 for United, i don't think it will be a brilliant display but it will be a reasuring victoy following last week but it will be a much better performance with 3 points coming our way

They know we can't afford to slip up 2 weeks running so I expect a much better performance but we're going to have to be more clinical than last week, 3-1 united if we take our chances.

We havn't lost to Villa in the past five meetings, so I expect nothing short of 3 points. I'm not going to predict a score line but I think that Ronaldo and Rooney will score.

I'm not going to predict a score line but I think that Ronaldo and Rooney will score. and we hadn't lost to West Ham in the last 10 matches at Upton Park either so I'm not going on statistics...lol. I hope no desperation sets in because we don't play well like that.

How could you two not recognise each other with those decriptions I'm actually quite nervous about this game, probably because of last weeks result and the fact I can't stand the thought of us throwing away the lead we'd worked so hard for in the space of a week but hopefully the lads will get the result for us and send us in to christmas happy.

I have fond memories of Villa Park. It was my first Away game, and we beat them in the cup 3-2 after Pip had scored an OG.
