I seriously hope someone punches Keane in the face (not for the VDS incident that was pure innocence). Hes a right mardy fucker and that Chimpbonda [no racism intended, merely a pun out of his name] god damn it... On the Ronaldo penalty im going to suggest one word that begins with 'I' and ends with 'T'. Ill let you figure it out But overall im happy and also kind of worried over VDS, hopefully he shouldn't be out for too long. I told me family we would trounce on these...

Robbie Keane was running around recklessly before he hit VDS, it's his fault that. He was ranting and raving at the referee, sliced down Rio and then hit VDS. It may not have been intentional but it was reckless.
The result though was great, I think for the penalty Ronaldo went down too easily but it was a penalty. If he didn't go down we would have said "if he went down there it'd have been a penalty!" so I think it was a harsh but correct decision.
Ronaldo and Rooney were top notch again as were Giggs, Scholes and Carrick. Rio and Vidic's partnership continued to blossom and a clean sheet is all you can ask for.
We've gone to White Hart Lane and the Reebok Stadium and won 4-0, not many teams will do that.
Great result.
Moureeeeeenheeeeeee-o are you listenin'?, You better keep our trophy glistenin', We'll be back in May to take it away, Walkin' in a Fergie wonderland!

i fail to see anything harsh about it tbh mate. There WAS contact, not much but there was and because of Ronaldos speed that he runs at it isnt going to take much effort to knock him down... its all about that 'I' word. Malbranque had no clue about what he was doing he just decided to run behind him and stick his foot out then retract.
But nevertheless.... each time we went forward we caught spurs with their trousers down and the 2nd 3rd and 4th goal showed it. They always had 3 or 4 defenders doing sweet FA and not picking up.
The 4-0 flattery of a win was there for the taking and we grasped it with both hands laughing across London to Chelsea.

John O'Shea's assured, commanding, and solid position in goal has earned him some brownie points with me.

We played like Champions today. Our best performance for a good while. Scholes was terrific, Giggs was great, Ronaldo took a while to get into the game today but certainly the 2nd half he was a class act. Vidic, again, he is a mountain. Magnificent.
Our great win was marred by Edwin's injury. At first it looked like it could be worse but thankfully he was able to get back to his feet. I don't know how long he could be out for, nothing has been announced, but I'm guessing it could be 3-4 weeks. I think Kuscscak is a good goalkeeper, but if it's possible I'd be more happy us bringing Foster back until Edwin is fit to play.
Or, we could stick O'Shea, The Cat, in there. I know we were 4-0 up at the time, but well done to the boy for having the confidence to play there for the last ten minutes. It was funny when the Sky Sports cameras went on him when the 4th official showed it was 5 minutes injury time. He had a good laugh at that. "F*ck! Please not five minutes!" hehehe. He did very well.
So, we entertain Charlton next. With or without Edwin we should win that convincingly. On the same day, Chelsea travel to Middlesbrough. Three points should definitely be added to our tally next week, but I think Chelsea could stumble against the Boro. Let's hope so.
GLORY GLORY! #boxing#

im in a jolly good mood after today's performance. we really are a second half team though. i was feeling very worried after the first 30 mins and was fuming about not getting the first penalty. now im not sure if we deserved the one we got. ronny WAS going very fast and couldve been knocked off balance but hey, id take anything at that point. it was a well taken penalty stuck straight into the bottom right.
we started the second half with a roar with three very good chances in the first minute and a half. (thought carrick was unlucky not to bag one bcuz i kno he wouldve loved it) then what can i say about our boy vidic. he is a beast. then i thought scholes sat on the ball and i began screaming when i thought the chance had gone, but fortunately, it hadn't. then it was a perfect pass from saha to set up giggsy who i knew would score. well done O shea for keeping the clean sheet. ULL NVR BEAT O SHEA!!!! i was singing and dancing for the whole rest of the game after we went 3-0 up. it felt great to b able to go to white heart lane and humiliate them. i loved it. and we did it like real champions. i hope van der star is okay. if he's not should we bring back foster for the time being, or will we be ok with kuczack.
im very proud of our boys. United United TOP OF THE LEAUGE!!! WE WANT OUR TROPHY BACK!!!
100th post!!!!! ;D

VDS could easily miss the Lille game, could be worth recalling Howard or Foster if there is any possiblity. Kuszczak is not good enough from what i've seen so far.

Came back from White Hart Lane about an hour and half ago. What a match it was! Now I've seen everything with O'Shea in goal. Great tackle by him, against Keane at the end. "You'll never beat O'Shea!", "Ireland Number 1!, Ireland, Ireland Number 1!". Watch out Given your days are numbered.
The Ronaldo penalty incident was right in front of me and to me it was a penalty. I've seen penalties given for less. Malbranque made the slightest of contacts and if the player feels it, he can go down and rightfully claim a penalty. Lawro and Shearer have said it themselves on MOTD before, so it'll be interesting see what they say on this decision, something hypocritical, no doubt.
Can't believe that some Spurs fans were complaining about Rooney's foul language. when I saw parents swearing in front of their children and boys as young as 7 or 8, doing the #Wa# sign to Ronaldo, in the Spurs section.
Main thing is we got the 3 points, kept a clean sheet and increased our GD tally. 4 goals from 4 players bang on form. All in all, a good day, except for the yellow cards, which were a bit harsh.
