We've got boro in the fa cup next. It's gonna be a difficult match. In the last 5 years, boro have beaten us 5 times. So were gonna need to play a strong but not very strong team. If we concentrate, we'll be fine.................. #boxing#

This is another tough draw for us, I see us being held to a draw in this one, Boro are one of those teams that are capable of pulling out a good performance now and then. The question is how do we line up? No Saha, Solsjaer or Larrson. I think it might look like this:
VDS
Nev Rio Vidic Evra
Ron O'Shea Carrick Giggs
Smith Rooney
I know its risky staring Smith, but I think if he plays poorly, Fergie will bring on Park and move Giggs up front just playing behind Rooney.

Just a question...Does Scholes suspension apply to FA Cup matches as well or only Premiership matches? If not, obviously Scholes in for O'Shea.

Scholes is banned for the FA Cup game. Larsson is available too.

I'll go for the following lineup
VDS
Brown Rio Vidic Heinze
Park O'Shea Carrick Giggs
Smith Larsson
I think both Ronnie and Rooney will be on the bench to start with. Larsson will definitely be in the team as it's his last game.
Boro can be tough on their patch, and if the Yak and Viduka are on song, then we'll be in for a torrid time.

I've got a horrible feeling about this fixture. Adam's XIVan Der Sar
Neville - Ferdinand - Brown - Evra
Ronaldo - Carrick - Giggs - Richardson
Larsson - Rooney [/color] Prediction Despite the horrible feeling, I'm going for 1-0 United - Larsson to score, again!

I'm happy that we still have Larsson for this match. As long as he's in the squad, we always have a chance (just like with Ole! ;D) Nevertheless, it's gonna be difficult .. it took hard work to win there last season, and don't forget that dreadful 4-1 thrashing.

Yeah Adam, I have a sinking feeling about this one even though we've fared well against Boro as of late. They're one of those teams that can frustrate us and with Viduka and Yakubu they have a good chance of scoring. I'm really hoping this will be the performance that finds us back in better form. I like the formation and team but I'd rather see Park on the wing than Richardson though..

i think this is the game to take and play really good, ferguson would like to win he doesnt want any replay he knows that, and i think smith will be on the bench and rooney, ronaldo will start because they were subbed against lille, and larsson will play his last game and hopefully score again or assist 2 goals where rooney scores;)

I think we are gonna win this one but it will be hard...I dont see Larsson scoring, but he will play well...I can see Parky bringing in some heat and Rooney or Ronaldo to score...2-1 for me

I hope Larsson scores in his final match for us, we can't afford another replay so we need to win this. Probably going to be a boring match... but never mind. Why hasn't our match been moved to Sunday?

Vidic hopes for last Laqrsson hurrahUNITED defender Nemanja Vidic is backing Henrik Larsson to go out in style against Middlesbrough. Larsson is leaving United after the FA Cup quarter-final at the Riverside to return to Sweden, and Vidic is hoping the 35-year-old will perform one last feat of heroics. Vidic said: "Henrik has helped us a lot over the last couple of months and it has been a pleasure to play with him. "I hope that he can score just one more goal for us tomorrow - that would be a good way to end his time in Manchester. "We have some good results but there have been a lot of difficult games. Now we just have to forget about beating Liverpool in the Premier League and Lille in the Champions League and think about the FA Cup, because it will be another tough game against Middlesbrough."
