Scholes should know better.
Rooney scored what can turn out to to be a vital goal.
We have little depth in the squad, and we were hardly playing great before Scholes got sent off.
The Italian police are a bunch of violent facist cunts who act like criminals.
The Ref was being a useless tosser.
Roll on the next leg, might have been a rubbish match, but we have an away goal, at the end of the day it could have been much worse. All we need is a 1-0 win at Old Trafford.

He's not a hot-head, he just can't tackle BTW, does the red mean he'll miss the 1st semi-final leg as well (provided we go through).

No he'll miss one game.
But, even when he recieved his first booking he was ruled out of the next game because he was on two yellows.
Edit: Who's been winding up the US Reds then?

Well I'm not sure what to think about the game... Disappointed in Scholes even though we all know Scholes isn't the best at tackling mind you he was already suspended after he got the first yellow. Still he should know better. Anyways, I thought we were giving the ball away too much, lacking creativity, and missing the presence in midfield that would've stopped Roma from running through us so easily. After the first goal went in I must admit I became very distraught. I didn't know how we'd react without Scholes and a goal down. Then when we scored the second (brilliant goal by the way, perfect passing by Ronny and Ole, and great finish by Wazza. Finally) I thought we could win it. But no matter what was going to happen I was thrilled we got the away goal. They were lucky to score the second goal, but we hung on to 2-1. At the final whistle, I could breath easy again. Now I'm feeling good and am confident we can win it at OT. Also can someone fill me in on what happened on the shoutbox? I know, I'm a very nosy lad. Also hoping for the best for our fans who were hurt or were arrested. Daft thing to do though, I hope Tom is alright.

id like to give credit to carrick. i thought he did exceptionally well holding his own in the middle.we couldnt always prevent the counter but i thought he did exceptionally well distributing the ball and relieving pressure when called upon

Carrick is playing very well at the moment and you can thank him for our possesion, flow, and link up play. #thumb# However I think we were lacking a Keano/Haregreaves player tonight. That's why I'd love to see the midfield lineup look like this for the future: Lennon Haregeaves Carrick Ronaldo ;D

Let's imagine we just played Roma at Old Trafford...
Let's imagine after half an hour, one of their best players got sent off. Let's imagine before half time we went a goal up. It was a deflected goal, but we'll take it.
Then we let them come back in to the game and they've now got an away goal. Fuck this, we're playing against 10 men! They're hardly even attacking our goal and we've let them score! Fuck sake.
Great, we get a goal back, 2-1. If we score another, then this will be a good result. I'll be happy to play away with a 3-1 lead.
Final whistle. Wtf?? We won by ONE goal against a team that played with ten men for an hour?? We won by ONE goal, when one of those were deflected, at home, against a team that played with 10 men for an hour?? What the FUCK??
Lets get it in to perspective. We'll take these bastards at Old Trafford. Some of them attempts were damn laughable. And at Old Trafford, we will laugh at them. Would have preferred the 1-1 draw, but I'll take 2-1. If they can only beat our 10 men by one deflected goal, imagine what we'll do to them at Old Trafford!

I'm as confident as Scott for the second leg and I'm glad it's only a week away. Excitement is building.

We'll do these guys next week. But there's going to be time-wasting, diving and all the usual cynical shit you get from Italian teams. Wasn't great to see Louis Saha back? We really need him for the next few weeks.

I see legends7 now has a warning level of 100%. What actually happens when it gets to 100%?
Im happy with the result. So Roma dominated. What do you expect when you are playing a team with 10 men? Im proud that the lads got that result under terrible conditions with our fans. Its like we are a massive family. Players and supporters combined, and I hope we can raise the roof at O.T and get the Italian cheats out of Europe. I have total confidence that we will go on to the semi's. Looking forward to next Tuesday.
Come on United. Lets be positive and get the result we need.

i hope it doesnt become like against porto, we are leading 1-0 and in the last fucking seconds 1-1 i hope ferguson wil play giggs, carrick, fletcher, ronaldo, with rooney and saha on the top, or even putting a formation of 4-1-2-3. going with more defending mid fielders and attacking more wide with more men up front and get an early 1-0 lead, and try to do 2-0 as soon as possible,

Scholesy broke my heart tonight, wtf was he doing? 2 daft tackles
Both their goals could have been avoided but overall a 2-1 loss away isn't the worst result even if we'd had 11 men and it at least gives us a chance at OT, still going to take a good performance from the lads at home but it's definately doable.
The police were a disgrace, they weren't using batons to control the fans they were just battering random people and going totally OTT while the Roma fans had a few stewards ushering them away from the divider.

I see legends7 now has a warning level of 100%. What actually happens when it gets to 100%? Warning levels co-incide with warnings received for bad behaviour, get to a 100percent and you receive a suspension or permanent ban
