definitely! that's exactly what I was saying last night. United fans should NEVER leave before the end or let the away fans outsing them! that's just wrong. u support the team regardless of the score. so many other fans could've gotten tickets instead, the ones who would've stood up for United. Terrible, just terrible... I don't know what was worse last night, the way we played, the score, or United supporters... No offence, although you may not like the way United fans left early last night, but come on, if you've paid a decent amount of money to watch United, and you see a bunch of reserves playing awfully, losing at home to Coventry it's pretty hard not to leave early. It's not just the fact that it was a bunch of reserves, Fergie suggested in the press, as he often does, that Rooney and Saha may well be involved. When first timers get there and see that rubbish from reserves after hoping to see others, on what by the way was a bloody freezing night.. they can't have been too happy. Makes you realise how big a show of faith last night was, he was so convinced somebody would make their name, he didn't even put the senior lads on the bench, must be gutting for him.

So, if United are losing they don't deserve to have their fans? Ok, I see where you were going, but I know that I would never leave a United game because we were losing... I mean, when you come to a game, you should be prepared for the possibilty that your team might actually lose. That's just football, you can't always win. So, Fergie made a mistake, so the young lads weren't having the greatest day, so what? It's just one game. The team stays.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU LOT ON ABOUT? Fans who turn up just to see the players are pathetic. I hope they don't turn up ever again.
I went there to support my team. I left disappointed, woke up with the hangover and carried on mwith my life. I didn't want the Rooney's or Ronaldo's - I actually preferred the youngsters, but I went there for the game itself. Simple as.

Shite performance but I haven't given this game a second thought. The Carling Cup means about as much as the Community Shield. Disappointing, but agree. Anyone remember Southend last year, didn't do us too much damage in the long run, did it?!

I lol'd quite hard when i saw this scoreline. I mean its dissapointing, but. fuck it, its the Carling Cup, who gives a shit lol.
Maybe our reserves needed this, a bit of a wake up call, let them know they need to start performing, and what happens when they dont. Lift yer heads up boys, your playing for United.

Have to admit, was more disappointed last year against Souf'nd than I was this year. it's a trophy we won't be competing for, but the people who're going to miss out are the youngsters as it was their chance to shine. Life goes on though, onto bigger and better things I say.
