Hargreaves and Anderson were great today btw, don't know how Gallas got man of the match. Come on, most players who score 2 goals in a game will be awarded MOTM

I'll take the point, cheers. If someone offered me 2-2 at kick off today, I would have taken it in a heartbeat. We didn't play that great, but came away with a point. Of course it would have been nice to get the win, but we didn't deserve it.
Anderson can pack that asking the ref to book and diving around like a mug. Had a cracking game, but I was embarrassed to see that.
Cute to see the Arsenal players hugging and celebrating like they'd won the title after the final whistle. Aww. Getting a point from the Champions is as close as they're going to get though I suppose...

Yeah 1 point is better than none, no question of that but I really thought beating Arsenal would defuse their momentum. No we didn't play that well but they were always chasing us to equalise and I felt we should have done better to keep the lead.

not the match many expected.
too cautious from united's side. and arses.
both teams were bad.
refree was bad also, both ways, it wasnt like he favoured a team, he was just shit overall. even though howard is a top ref he was shit today.
and our defending was shit as well.
not the best of days even though twice i screamed in joy for nothing in the end.
better to have 1 point even though we could have and should have had 3 with just minutes remaining defending like that wasnt the best thing. but anyways.
gotta move ahead and see off all the teams ahead. and not to slip up anymore.

this title will not be won in these games. It'll be against the cannon fodder of this league. Chelsea are back in it but there new attacking football will be there undoing because at the back there soft.

Is it possible that United can only really play to their full potential with a Saha type striker on the pitch? Definitely I mean Tevez and Rooney just don't work I mean last few games they have both looked awful, we couldn't seem to find the net with those 2 errrr.... what? the last 5 games we have scored 18 goals with some magical link up play between rooney and tevez. unless youre being sarcastic.. which is entirely possible... lol Tevez had a bad day today, but i still love it when hes hassling defenders off the ball!

Decent performance and a fair result. Ref too fussy. Thought Evra and Anderson were our star men. I'm still confident Arsenal are heading for a fall at some stage.

I do believe i said i don't feel that United are playing to their full potential? In which case i stand by that, they haven't been, but they started to play fantastic stuff today when Saha and Carrick came on, hence the question! If you want me to admit that United played alright against some average sides then yeah, they did, but whether those 2 can win a champions league title yet, i'm not sure.

And there was me thinking that Ronnie was pretty much invisible and should buck up his ideas ........when he goes and scores!

And there was me thinking that Ronnie was pretty much invisible and should buck up his ideas ........when he goes and scores! Gave possession to arsenal when they got their 2nd,him and giggs were pretty poor over the 90 minutes.

So nearly! Well I'd have taken 2-2 before the game. and the mugs of arsenal celebrated like they'd won the european cup, not rescued a point at home.
anderson - stop with the writhing in agony and imaginary cards, otherwise was excellent hargreaves - bossed the midfield mostly giggs and ronaldo - not good today except for the goal rooney - usual bullish self tevez - bit off the pace but did well defence - rocks of rio and nemanja held firm evra - man of the match arsenal crowd - ya tossers with your "hoof" cries every time a united player cleared the ball like arsenal invented passing. strangely silent when arsenal players did the same. the ref - far too fussy
verdict - we won't give away our title without a big fight

Heartbreaking stuff......i almost cried at the pub watching it with a Gooner. There was no reason why we should have lost that lead, but at the end of the day, it's a good enough result for us. Away at Emirates is never an easy task, and we got a result. Also can take out the fact that Arsenal didn't ever lead in the match, which is bad considering again, it was at home.
Thought Anderson & Hargo should get a mention, they were 2 of our best, and Evra was a gun as always in defence. Oh well, chin up boys and girls, Christmas is comming, and i know what i've wished for this year.

Btw, I think someone mentioned it before in another section ... but seriously, Goons are so kiddish. The PA announcer listing the first names of their players, while they shout their surnames; so stupid

couldnt of asked for a better game, just a better result. i agree that we do the sort of thing arsenal did to us to other teams all the time, so its a taste of our own medicine, im happy it wasnt for a loss, but devistated we let go of the lead.
on a side note, does anybody know why they choose yellowballs some weeks and white ones on others? I had to watch the game over the internet, and yellow balls blend in with the grass way to much, you have to tell whats happening by the way the players are moving almost. White balls are much better, especially for such a big match, it was a shame. Still enjoyed the game a ton, watched it with about 10 friends at 8 am.....

Gutted to not win. Yes, it's a solid point but we should be winning when we were leading into stoppage time.
I am glad to see our almost gung-ho mentality coming back, even w/ 10 to gg we kept the ball well and kep men in attack, which might explain some of our defensive weakness in the second half. But I'll take that over conservatism on the whole.
As for Left Back Pat, we all know he ain't the best defender, but I challenge you to finda better overlapping, attackig wing-back going around.
