Could be a very difficult match, but at OT, we'll be able to win. Remember they had a very tough match on Thursday in the Uefa Cup, so they wont be fully rested. I'm hoping for a much better performance than last week, but as long as we get the three points in the bag I'm happy. And if our back four perform the way they did in the second half at Anfield I'm sure we'll get a comfortable win.

Potentially tricky game but we should have enough to win it as long as we have the right attitude, I'd go for a 3-1 win.

Of the players that played that night I expect 3 or possibly 4 players to start against us, so I don't really see that as an issue. Most of their key players like Cahill, Arteta, Yobo, Howard and Yakubu didn't even travel.

Toughest game outside of the top 4, so we need to field the strongest available 11 and the players need to be awake for it. Predicting a 2-1 win with Rooney and Vidic scoring.
Going to the game via the train from Sheffield, first time in a long time i've had to go by train. Could potentially be a royal pain in the arse.

Sir Fergus always takes risks around this time of year, not that much of a suprise, but it usually has a big effect on the side when either Scholes or Rio are out.
Really hope Simpson takes his chance too, massive chance against a side in form.
I think we'll draw or lose though, not a match to be pissing around in Fergie.
Very young side

That boy, Ronaldo. There's only one, Ronaldo - there's only one, Ronaldo!
Happy with the result of course but poor/sloppy form today. Anyone agree?
Tomasz Kuszczak didn't look confident what so ever.
Anyway, 2-1 as predicted (see earlier post. Ok I got the goal scorers wrong). Enjoy Christmas lads, here's to the Boxing Day match.

Christ, what a horrible game to watch. When Ronaldo scored his first (which was a cracker) i thought we were just gonna coast along to an easy victory, but was i wrong. One of the more tense and nervous matches seen for the season, and cant say im too happy with a majority of the players that were there today. Kuszczak, made some good saves but his clearences were appauling. O'shea looked nervous as hell, as did Simpson. Tevez seemed to want to go the whole distance by himself, and only saw him pass on the rare occasion.
Oh well, we won. Roll on sunderland.
