I hope we win obviously. But more importantly even if its a draw I hope we score a couple of away goals. I hope Ronaldo scores want him to win the world player of the year for that he needs to score in the champions league.

ooo I do love a good European match, if we can continue to build from the momentum of the battering of Le Arse, that'd be c'est magnifique. As Long as we don't lose I'd probably be happy, but I think right now, home or away we need to keep winning, another loss in whatever competition can do a lot of damage this time of the season.
Hopefully we won't be getting any problems in France this time, and if we could avoid injuries that'd be great, especially with Newcastle comin up at the weekend, however shite they are.

A draw with an away goal or two would do me but obviously we should go all out for the victory because we have the team to do it and have picked up a head of steam with that victory on Saturday. Somethings telling me either Carrick or Fletcher will keep their place in the midfield but everyone else who played in the midfield five on Saturday will be 'dropped' in place of the others that were left out. My XI would be: Van Der Sar
Brown - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Scholes - Hargreaves - Giggs
Rooney - Tevez As we always do with European aways, expect Rooney or Tevez to drop into a wider position with Giggsy coming in field. I think that eleven is good enough for a win but I'd be satisfied with a score draw. Prediction: 2-2. Ronaldo and Rooney.

It's tough in France. Not expecting much. They aren't 6x-in-a-row Ligue 1 champions for nothing.
I'll be glad if we get an away goal, as long as we don't get tonked in the process.

The UCL is back, finally!
A draw in Gerland (except 0-0) will be a good result. A 2-2 Draw would be a great result.

I love champions league weeks. Hope the scousers win for the first time in my life. Inter are a very strong side and it will be better if they are knocked out as soon as possible. Same about Barcelona and Arsenal. With Kaka probably injured Arsenal also have a good chance.

We'll be going with our full strength squad and I do hope we see a United in similar form to what we saw on Saturday. I expect a draw as Lyon at home is a tricky one, though I do feel we're a better team as a whole and hope we take them to the cleaners.

3-1 To Utd.
Lyon aren’t as good as everyone makes out. Their not as good as they used to be when they had a midfield of Malouda - Essien - Diarra - Juninho
We got at 2-2 draw away and a win at OT back then so I’m confident this time around. Any win would be good though or even a draw as long as we score at least 1 away goal.

They were the better team in our last encounter in France with us needing Rvn to pop up with a couple of goals. But they had a great midfield then and we are a far better team now. I expect a win. I really think we'll go out and beat them convincingly on the back of last weeks result. I'm going for a 3:0 to make the second leg a formality.
Adams line up is the likely one we'll see, but I think out of our midfielders Anderson at least deserves to start. Would like to see Nani and Saha at some point too.

I'd be happy enough with a score draw tbh. Lyon aren't as strong as in recent seasons but our form in the away legs of knock-out stages in the Champions league is dreadful (We've lost 5 out of the last 6). We'll do a number on them in OT but I'm not expecting us to hammer them tomorrow night.

I would like to see Anderson start as well, after his performance against the gooners. This won't be easy though. I'm thinking a 1-1 draw.

2-0 , Giggs on his 100th match + Rooney
We will be high in confidence from Saturday, and i hope Fletcher keeps his place.
