whats to say that a striker we bring in wont get injured, we are better off sticking with saha, he is bound to get a run of games together Take the first offer and ship the waste of (physio bench) space out of there! Was that really necessary?? Saha is a world class striker, he provides us with something rooney and tevez doesnt. And im confident that he will be back better than ever very soon. Im sure if Sir Alex did not think he was a real good striker he would have sent him packing a long time ago.

Exactly my thoughts (apart from the world class bit, but great to see some more support for Louis . There's no point in arguing about more strikers anyway ... what we have now is what we have 'til season's end.

We are all entitled to our opinions FG. I agree he's world class when on form and playing, but I am as frustrated as hell with his constant sick notes. FFS, how much is he costing the club a week that could be used for a less injury prone striker? WIth regards to Fergie shipping him out, how could he? Saha was injured up to and during the transfer window, hardly putting himself in the shop window. Additionally, most suitable targets would've been cup-tied and at inflated prices during the window. SAF will give him until the end of the season and then get shot, no matter at what cost.

What im saying is, that he would have sold him a long time ago, maybe in the summer or half way through last season. We must agree to disagree

People throw the term ‘world class’ around way too easily these days.

People throw the term ‘world class’ around way too easily these days. That's a world class point. Saha and world class don't go together. He's very good when fit but he hasn't shown anything to suggest that he's world class.

He's very good when fit but he hasn't shown anything to suggest that he's world class. I think he's as good as any forward when he's fit and in form. He's truly capable of anything, he can finish, he's got bags of pace, he can drop deep and link up play. Hopefully we can somehow cryogenically freeze him and then thaw him out for the Lyon game. Otherwise he will get injured.

He's the best unfit player we've ever had.
