TBH I never believe anything in print anymore - it can all be used out of context so unless there is an unedited video of him saying that then I'll take it as 99% bullshit just to sell papers or get hits on a website

I think Di Maria as the non-defensive right wing-back with Blind being deployed as his shadow to cover his tracking back duties

I want us to go back to a back 4. Back 3 might eventually work out long term but I just don't like it, we don't look comfortable and it doesn't scream attacking football to me.
Getting everyone on the pitch in a formation that brings out the best of them is not easy, but that's what Louie's get paid the big bucks for, isn't it?

I honestly believe the 3-5-2 can be a real game changer if we nail it ..it can really overwhelm the opponent when the team play as a cohesive unit

I thought this only affected the squad, not the lineups or am I mistaken?

This would be my suggestion: If you have to go or this then wouldn't you swap RvP and Falcao? Also, no Rojo or Januzaj. I now it is hard to get everyone on the pitch but they would be in my preferred line up.

Any potential line up we're posting has to include Rooney, lets not kid ourselves. This. Anyone who doesn't see what Rooney actually contributes to the team can't be watching our games. This would be my preferred line-up: Dude, Valencia's crosses are the worst in the league and his decision making cant get any more predictable. As far as sprinting is considered, lets elave it to Bolt. Ladnan is head and shoulders above Young. If we talk about Young during the 8-2 romp of Arsenal, why forget the Cleverleys and Andos. Lets have them as well on the pitch and bench Blind, Herrera and Ladnan. And please, let us not put ADM and Young in the same league again. Micheal Keane.1) Rooney cant defend to save his life 2) Even Rooney would not be aware of all the positives mentioned about him.1) IMO Herrera and Blind should never be on the bench. They should walk straight into the starting XI, considering our option in MF. 2) Cleverley, Anderson, Fellaini and Fletcher. - Sorry to say but their days are numberedAgree with almost ALL other parts of the post

DdG 2. Rafa Jones Rojo Shaw 3. Blind Herrera 4. DiMaria 5. RvP Rooney/Mata 6. Falcao It's a little bit narrow, but those FBs should be able to bomb on with Blind/Herrera as the security blanket. This puts Di Maria in the position he excelled for Madrid last season. Extra width could be provided by subbing Herrera/Blind for Januzaj and moving that player from line 3. to line 4. the opposite side of the pitch to Di Maria. Looks completely balanced to me.

Blind, Herrera, Falcao and RVP's position should be fixed and no fucking up whatsoever. That leaves ADM and one of Mata/CC to fit in any formation ---Blind--- Herrera ADM ----Mata---- 2 of Falcao, RVP and CC.. --Blind---Herrera-- -------ADM----- Adnan-Falc/RVP-Mata/CC Mata played on the left of a 3 under RDM with great effect and he did for Valencia aswell. However, LVG prefers pacy widemen and neither of Mata or CC suit his 4-3-3. I can't help but feel with the arrival of Falcao, Adnan's game time will be lesser
