Tiote isn't just a player who destroys, he can get forward aswell. He's more of a Keane type than an Makelele. At least, that's how I would use him.
Got MOTM today, covered some ground too.

Yeah I agree with that. He's no De Jong. He can get forward, he has tons of energy and he seems like a great striker of the ball too.

He will be a year older and has constantly banged on about how he loves and wants to stay at Inter.
Time to look elsewhere.

Sneijder ship sailed away this summer. Judging by Fergies comments on the club's official site we'll be looking for unheard gems ala Hernandez - whether we find them is another question....

i think next summer a right back might be on the list. smalling may be first choice in the center with vidic and i don't think he's the long-term answer on the right anyway, neither jones.
not sure why the twins are out of favour, perhaps nothing more than just wanting to ensure smalling and jones are getting games. we'll have to see how it goes but i reckon if someone hasn't nailed on by the end of the season - let's get in a top right back.

Bollocks to that. Rafael, Fabio, Smalling, Evans, Jones can all play right back.
We need a midfield. We're missing a heart in our team. I don't mean the passion and drive, I mean an actual, physical, heart.
'Keeper - Good Defence - Good Wingers - Good Central Midfield - Cleverley. By himself. Strikers - Good

there are still questions about the twins IMO. the fact that neither of them has nailed down a spot worries me
smalling, evans, jones aren't right backs.
full-back has never struck me as a position where it's good to rotate. evra plays if fit on the left, IMO we need a first choice counterpart on the right, although i'd agree it's not the priority.

I agree with Jimbonda. I reckon we need a left and a right back - whether they will be playing as a supplement to Fabio or Rafael doesn't matter.
I'm okay with the midfield (don't mind investment) and De Gea needs more time to develop.

Tyler Blackett can come through at left-back (yeah, I'm harping on a bit but fuck it, I rate him.) Rafael will be our first choice right back. He's young, young players pick up niggly injuries that iron out as his body fully matures. Get him fit, and play him. Until then I'm quite happy to have Smalling and Jones getting soild game minutes even if it is slightly out of position. It'll do them good, Total football requires players who can line-up anywhere on the pitch anyway.
