outsourcing to india is done (or was done about 4/5 years ago). now it's all to poland/hungary/romania.
seems to much better service offering for us so far anyway! but all jobs that previously have been done in country until it was found cheaper.

TBH as long as we're still in the EU if jobs/services really need to be outsourced then I'd prefer other EU countries to get the job rather the sub-continent
Obviously I rather we didn't have to outsource at all - doing that started the decline of our own economy IMO

Would make me incredibly sad to see abused kids I'd probably go into Charles Bronson mode and exact some retribution Lazy cunt > did some work > Lazy cunt in my case

The demographic here seems to mostly be underage drinkers and retirees. There's no train station, just the guided bus route linking it to Cambridge, Huntingdon and occasionally Peterborough, and it's not on a motorway. Yet somehow the rents are eye-watering. That's just Cambridgeshire in general really, I'm from what must be the most fucking dull place on earth, it's just flat fields and cow shit.
Learning to drive at the moment, once that's sorted and I have a car, I'm pressing on with saving for the Manchester move.

Car is essential I live in a village/very small town in Herts and you can't rely on public transport especially when the weather is shit ... we do have our own train station and are half a mile from the M25 though

Not needing a car in the city is understandable but in the sticks you're fucked without one If you have an appointment somewhere you have to give yourself 90 minutes to get there just to be on the safe side ... and the nearest towns are only 3-5 miles away

Cars aren't that necessary for Manchester as the PT links are generally pretty good.
I went to St Ives in Cambridgeshire once, it was nice. Although by the time I got there at about 6pm, all the eateries were shut, which is an alien concept to me.
