I really think this is the player we really need, just take time and watch the video (in a real madrid shirt) he actually tackles and breaks up play as well as finding that pass and good feet all from CM. is he available? someone please tell me, and if he is why are united not going in for this kid?

Would love him on loan for the season. If we played Scholes, Carrick and Sahin as a midfield 3 that would be the least mobile midfield I think we could ever play, but great at possession.

Been mentioned before, he'd be perfect here, can keep the ball under pressure and an eye for a pass. Plus he's not got a chance at all at Real, even though he's been predominantly injured, but still.
I'd be over the moon with him and Kagawa.

Think Mourinho has already said he's staying, shame though as he would be an ideal fit here and just what we need!

If Mourinho has said he is staying fair enough answers my question.More than happy with kagawa though, just a thought as i did not see him feature much for madrid

It's a hard pill to swallow when Sahin got brought for £7.5 million & we are forking out £12-20 million (depending on what press you choose to listen) for Kagawa, a player in the last year of his contract -albeit we will make a shed load from shirt sales. Last year we paid £16 million on Young who was also in the last year. Tad ridiculous £7.5million was his release clause but we should have seized the opportunity like they did & at least bid -which to my belief we didn't (correct me if I'm wrong).

If i am not wrong Sahin had decided that he wanted to go to RM, so no point in bidding.
Also Sahin and Jose both have said that he will be at RM and get game time. So no go here.

Cracking player. Wasted a year at Madrid. Lets see if Mourinho sticks to his word and plays him more. We should still monitor the situation though. Just in case....

Was just thinking exactly that. See how much he really gets playing and then look at it in January/next summer.

Madrid are a bit like City/Chelsea, they ruin loads of careers. Difference is they're actually a huge club people dream of playing for for reasons other than money.
Sahin would be much better off here though, and he's one of those who I really wonder why we were never in for when he did so well at Dortmund. Things like that make me really question our transfer policy and Ferguson's "value" claims. We're rarely in for the rare gems who DO represent value for money...

i'm amazed we did not really move for this kid, we had been watching him since he was 16. as said lets see if he plays, i think he will get the game time and do well. real play 4231 so it will be him, khedera and alonso battling for a spot but if real get another center mid then i'd say game over for him

I'm sure they've played Coentrao as a DM plenty of times too as the other options are a bit slow, along with Lass

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: "What's an IQ?"

Another bargain missed out on. Would take double maybe triple what they paid to get him. Quality player, suits us perfectly. But yeah, not gonna happen, which is a shame really. Kagawa won't be enough on his own so we'll just have to wait and see.

lass is getting wasted there like sahin, the only thing keeping lass going is that 100k he is supposedly earning, but by gosh he is wasting his best years away on the bench or in the kings cup.
