22 gold medals now. This has been an amazing Olympics for Team GB so far, let's hope it continues.

Fuck me yes it was. To be fair I think she was unlucky to get relegated in the first race, he basically got elbowed which caused her to break her lane briefly. Bit sucky but rules are rules I suppose. Dont matter though we're still winning golds everywhere . think we;ve got 4 boxers in semi which is 4 guaranteed medals because they give out double bronze.

The Aussie did that in her semi final against the Chinese girl aswell which she got away with, either way she should be proud, 1 for being fit and 2 because she did her best. Been a bit too much emphasis on jus gold medals in thee Olympics, the entire GB team should be proud and feel like winners, hopefully well win more medals whether their gold, silver or bronze. I for one am proud to be British even more so after seeing the talent on display. Particular praise should go to Jess Ennis and Chris Hoy as their was so much expectation on their shoulders to deliver and they did so in style. Glad somebody has overtaken that berk Redgrave. Sick of hearing about him.

He even slowed down at the end again lol. ^^ and yet missed the Olympic record by only 2 Hundredths of a second!!! (ie. 0.02 seconds) essentially the time it took him to put his finger to his mouth before he passed the line.

I think he knows himself deep down if he wanted to he could smash the WR if he tried hard enough, But until someone challenges him I cant seem him putting 100% down. Blake is closest challenger to him and he cant even get near him atm.

Did any of you see that 800m final? THAT was incredible. Agreed. Very special. too sad this is going to be the last 800M in the Olympics, from what i heard.

Did any of you see that 800m final? THAT was incredible. Yes I did and yes it was. Seems like a lovely lad as well. One of my favourite moments of the Olympics so far. He won't get the headlines though because he's not such a great character as Bolt. But I quite like the way he's gone under the radar. "The Greatest Athlete You've Never Heard Of" was just about right.

The worst thing for him was that his time would've won it the last three Olympics which goes to show how good that particular field was.
