If we sign Walcott Ill be severely pissed. Ive always thought the lad was over rated, moving to OT wont change that. Might as well piss on the money then light it on fire. Hes proved at Arsenal hes just cares about the money, at least Van Persie chose to leave to win silverware. Walcott wants more wages then hell stay there. We DONT want nor need a player like that at united.

Every club has them but at least those players have the right mind set and ability to be at the club. Dont care what anybody says Walcott is not good enough to be at united. There are only 2 wingers in the league that id want to replace Nani and that's Oxlaide-Chamberlaine and Bale. Id love it if we flogged Nani for 30m and got Bale coming the other way. Our front line would be fucking terrifying. Valencia ----------Kagawa------------ Bale ---------------Rooney ---------RVP------------

I'll actually agree with you there. I was about to say that, of the three big names that have come from Southampton's academy, he's the one I'd least want.
Bale Chamberlain Walcott
In that order.

Fuck me Id take Matt Jarvis before considering Walcott. He has 1 ability - Speed and unless you have the other right attributes to mix then you wont improve.

If Nani leaves, we would have 2 wingers. If we bought another central midfielder, we would have 7 central midfielders NOT including Rooney, kagawa or Powell. We need to buy 2 wingers if Nani leaves. Rooney, Kagawa and Welbeck are not winger solutions in the long run. New winger would be welcome, but not a necessity as I believe we will change formations to accommodate Rooney, Van Persie and Kagawa (he ain't suitable for a two man midfield imo), so 442 won't be our default formation. You can't count Scholes and Giggs as they will/should probably retire soon ..so that leaves Carrick (31), Clevs, Ando (injuries), Fletch (fitness??) and Powell. Midfield is the area we can most improve in, bringing a top class box to box player in the mould of Keane would take us to the next level - so that kind of player should be a priority.

That does look appealing doesn't it.
Craft and guile through the middle, just plain speed and raw power down the wings.

Cleverley Carrick Anderson Jones Fletcher Tunnicliffe Petrucci Hmm, yeah, you're actually right. I was sceptical for a minute but that's 7. If we sign Walcott Ill be severely pissed. Kidding. You're being naive if you don't think we have players like that already. Valencia ----------Kagawa------------ Bale ---------------Rooney ---------RVP------------ John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John have reunited for a Christmas album this year. It's handy, because looking at that front five? I GOT CHILLS! They're multiplyin' And I'm looo-sin' contro-ol 'Cause the power, they're supplyin' It's electrifyin'!!!

I thought we just decided we only want Bale? I know he's a bit of a cock, but Rio and RvP and the Gaffer and Nemanja and fuck it most of our squad can educate him in the ways of humility and grace.

I do only want Bale. However the likelyhood of this happening seems slim. So as a best 2nd option... This would be it.

I don't think that we will get bale cos you know he is spurs and the Chairman levies a huge fee whenever we go knocking.
Secondly didn't think that Nani will go there for swap , and if we do sell him somewhere else not sure we will get enough considering the contract situation.
So the idea of Swap for Rodri may be it and additional resources for Wanayama.
Still nice to think that Bale could come here. Pace with him and Tony on the Flanks for sure

I think our best chance of getting Bale is after he has his flight of fancy in Spain.he has often stated his desire to try his luck abroad and we will face another Ronaldo-esque circus if we were to sign him before that.He will either get bored of the lack of challenges or will not suit the RM/FCB style and we can pick him up for a decent amount.

I think you're right. Personally I think we've missed the boat with Bale when he went Tottenham.
