Heard people going on about this series for months now and had the first season on my laptop so seeing as ive run out of films to watch and needing several hours to kill in work I thought id watch the first season and see what all the fuss was about. Fair play I can see why people have given it such a good press. Starts off a bit muddling as its all over the place but as you get into it, it gets you hooked. The boobage and fit women in abundance helps like but fair play I thought it was brilliant. Gonna to watch the 2nd season 2moro night now. Im guessing a lot of you have watched this, whats you opinions on it? (and the FAF Emilia Clarke) if you must

Fantastic show Paul, the second season, if I must be honest, feels a bit rushed. Like they tried to fit too much in. My flatmate has read all the books and he tells me you get the feeling the entire 2nd season plays off in like 3 weeks, which is about right. Meanwhile it takes around 2 years:) Peter Dinklage, the man has grabbed the series by the neck, great casting and what a fantastic actor. Emilia Clarke, more where that came from man, even better some would say! Some epic shit to come in the 2nd season man, the plot steps up a gear and I can see the 3rd season being the best yet if they can get the budget to push the show that little bit further. Also, from what I hear, don't get too attached to ANY of the characters

Agreed that the second season felt a bit rushed, they were trying to fit so much into each episode that it felt rather disjointed and was skipping from one side-story to the other for a few minutes at a time. I understand there's going to be a whole host of reasons why they only chose to have 10 episodes but I really think it would have been wise to stretch it out maybe just a few more to 12 or 13. I think trying to fit such a huge amount into each episode has made it seem rushed and at times has made it drag.
That said I've still really enjoyed it. Peter Dinklage just makes the show, he's fantastic as Tyrion and there's other great performances from Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister, Aidan Gillan as Lord Baelish and Conleth Hill as Lord Varys.
Can't wait for the third series, it's going to be bloody epic.

I bought Series 1 based on the RoM thread - "Best TV Show Right Now"
I have watched it twice already, and will buy the very first DVD burnt of Series 2 - Brilliant!
Peter Dinklage is excellent, Tyrion is fast becoming an all-time favorite character of mine. Best he lives!

Shagga: How would you like to die, Tyrion, son of Tywin?
Tyrion Lannister: In my own bed, at the age of 80, with a belly full of wine and a girl's mouth around my c**k.
If he must die, those conditions must be met, or I'm outta here!

As I said in my thread "The Best Show on TV right now" , best show on TV right now. Period. 2nd season was a bit rushed I must agree, but Tyrion Lannister's awesomeness was more than worth it.

the imp is the gangsta of the whole show, he's the man! season one was brilliant, season 2 not as good so they better step up in season 3. get rid of sansa, nice face but she is so annoying. lord tywin is another gangsta even at his age.

The Onion knight is one of the drug dealers in the Guard, keep checking that out too.
Also, Catelyn Stark is Nathan's (From Misfits) mom.
