Not sure to be honest Dan, it's weird. Too many big characters being killed off perhaps too soon, be interesting to see how it finishes tomorrow night, down side is we'll have to wait longer for Season 4. Another rumour I've seen is Peter Dinklage who plays Tyrion Lannister won't be in Season 4 either, hope it's not true because I think he's brilliant. These seasons are too short  |

Paul, the series producers are not changing anything regarding the big characters at all. The story seldom deviates from the books. Your quarrel mi amigo is with George R. R. Martin  . And if my bookworm friends are to be believed. This is all just the beginning of epicness. |

I will still keep watching it as it's awesome. Just a bit dissapointed but I'm sure it will keep us glued. |

I've read all the books........you are all in for one hell of a journey.
Loving the TV series (there have been a couple of departures from the books but on the whole it plays them pretty straight).
The author is still writing and the next book is due out this summer.
Winter is coming.......

Just watched last two episodes - WOW. Never expected even more misery for the Starks. This show is just awesome...
I have all the books at home (except the first one) - would you recommend reading them from the start or just begin where this season ends? and in which book would that be if anyone knows?

for a fuller picture read from the start. but if u r up-to-date with the show, and cant bother with the hard slog of reading the first 2, the series should be somewhere in book #3, nearer the end i think.

Love the programme but think tonight was a pretty pants season ending. Was hoping for more of a give away than that, mainly disappointed now as we have to wait fookin ages for it to return . |

New season starts unspectacularly, though it's great to have it back again. The Red Viper was also expertly cast. Some big things are on their way (Good & Bad)  |
