Agree 1000% jay. There are very few completely good or bad characters here. I liked certain characters thinking they were good, then they go and do something that completely baffles me and the feeling vanishes. I actually feel sorry for the Kingslayer now, as if he's some misunderstood soul. LOL. That's the beauty of this series. Nobody is who they seem at first impression. There's always an angle. The only purebred cunt of the show is that vile scumbag Joffrey. It's the lost effect. Ever since that massively overrated show there are no good Characters anymore. It quite often annoys the shit out of me because your watching Characters you don't really like. In this case it works because you see their upbringing. Their world from their point of view. And all the horrible death seems to fit the medieval theme well.

The ones I reckon are pretty safe, and I swear to God I actually spoke to a friend of mine over the weekend telling him I don't think XXX will live much longer (check!), are Arya, Jon Snow and Bran. I'd agree with Arya, and Bran. Can't see the reason to do all that slow build on the abilities Bran has without exploring them to their fullest. Arya could finally be the one to break the Stark fear of being a twat, and actually kill some cunt that deserves it when she has the chance. Not too sure about Jon though. His motivations still seem all over the place, and Ygritte is probably not someone to mess with. I hope he does survive though, his and the Night Watch stories have been some of my favourites.

Without spoilering I think they were trying to show that Owen Hargreaves isn't in fact half the man his father was. The whole bedding ceremony & vow breaking. The others we're not sure about who they will become yet. Whereas "Hargreaves" was the man he was going to become, so they did what they did. Make sense?

Nobody press the backspace button as it makes you go back a page. Other buttons seems to randomly take you other places too.

I truly love this show. One of the few shows where I really have no idea what is going to happen (and I don't want to know, before anyone thinks of spoiling it)
Very few characters are pigeon-holed as 'good' or 'evil'. Jamie has managed to turn his image around, and even Joffrey was beginning to show a softer side at the start of season 3, though he does then go and mistreat Ros.

If you like this show/book don't think it's the be all & end all of the fantasy genre. The magician books by Raymond E Feist are excellent. Wizard's first rule is a good book. I'm tempted to go through my book collection now & pull ot some more. A TV show like this is long overdue considering how popular the Genre is in books.

No I don't think its the be all and end all either. Its worth noting that its is Low-Fantasy though, meaning a rather 'normal' world with few fantasy elements. I prefer high fantasy myself, but I can see why it would be a safer bet to make a TV show from.
This is a great passage from George RR Martin about fantasy, well worth he 90 second listen too. Accurately describes why with 90% of my reading is Fantasy or Sci Fi.

Just got up to date, what the fuuuuck is going on, either they've got a good way of improving it or they are slowly ruining it, can't believe that last episode, last one Monday aswell

Why do you think they're slowly ruining it? Is it because of the characters they invest time in building up only to kill them off. I know it's based on the book, but that's why I love this show. It's a rare thing to have such a shock in a popular TV show (unless you've read the books of course).
Breaking Bad is probably my favourite TV show ever, but I don't think I've experienced the same feeling I get from GoT - which is genuinely having no clue what's going to happen.
