Didn't Kagawa bad mouth Lewandowski to the press??? (to some degree, obviously the press probably blew it up) If I remember rightly Kagawa was asked a question & replied saying that he passes to Lew. but his teammate never passes to anyone else when they're in a better position. TBF to Lew. he got about 10 assists this season I think, so he's doing something right. P.S we probably should come up with a nickname for this guy (like we have for Chicharito), Lewandowski is too much effort to type & Lew. is stupid

Id love to see this lad at united, however if he has a good euro tournament then I can see his interest obviously widen (queue city going for him because of this). Can't see Poland going far in fairness though, everyone would have seen his potential in the league this season, & the Euros or internationals in general don't really showcase players that well sometimes.

The biggest problem well have if or when we do sign him. Its gonna cost a you to get him on the back of a shirt .

If we are bringing in Lewandowski, then the situation with Will Keane is most certainly a factor.
As i understand it, Fergie did want to give Will Keane some first team football but the kids injury has put a spanner in the works, hence the move for Lewandowski (alongside the Berba/ Owen factors).

the problem is can you see Wellbeck or Chicho scoring 20+ a season which is what we need. Dont get me wrong im not slating either player because they are both good and good enough, but with Rooney wandering as much as he does we need a striker that will stay up front and bang them in, also to give both Danny and Chicho competition. For me Chicho is more effective off the bench, when he starts a game he doesnt seem to have the same effect on a game and Welbeck needs several chances before he starts taking them so a 4th striker for me would be beneficial.

He seems a luxury signing I wouldn't consider Lewandowski a luxury signing at all, far from it. Fergie likes his four rotational strikers, so if we bring him in, Lewandowski will most certainly get playing time, more so if we do well in the cup competitions and progress a bit further in Europe. As i said, it's been no secret that Fergie was looking to play Will Keane in the first team, but this injury to the kid has forced his hand to bring in Lewandowski. I always felt we were going to bring in another striker anyway due to Owen departing and Berba more than likely going.

The thing is I thought that maybe he brought in Henriquez as a replacement for Will Keane so getting Lewandowski as well seems like overkill, especially if we are going to havea lone stroker in a 4-2-3-1 formation...if we go for 2 strikers then it makes a kind of sense but doesn't explain the Henriquez position...

As i understand it, Henriquez may possibly be going out on loan.
Maybe Fergie feels Lewandowski coming into the squad is the better option at the moment.
It's still all speculation obviously. Henriquez may go straight into our squad and we may decide not to go for Lewandowski. Who knows?

His movement in the box wasnt the sharpest last night, on that performance I wouldnt want him in the team ahead of DW. That could be because he didnt think anyone was going to find him, Poland would never have qualified for this tournament, their back line is slow and they play a high line, I expect the Russians to destroy them.

Agreed. He missed some sitters , but that said he was really good at the club. My only worry is A. Not sure if the Club will sell 2 of its most important players in a single season. b. As much as DW as much to improve bringing in Lewy my hamper his growth and chances also. The most dreaded being that we stick to 4-4-2 and get kagawa playing on the wings or in the mid so we have 2 up front. I will die bit by bit if Kagawa played on the wings.
