im not seeing that reported anywhere tatty. all the reports are to the contrary. suggesting his move to RM is off. Don't tell me u have water tight links to the Spuds now too do yah? Well The Telegraph reported that we had a deal completed for Gaitan, but the Times Journalist dispelled that as completely untrue. So if The Times report this bid as being the case its quite embarrassing for them if its not... as one of the 'reputable sources'

i dont know guys whilst he is a very talented player is he what we really need.
in the 2 cntral players we will use whethere in 442 or 4231. i expect scholes to get 30 games and i was hoping cleverly the other games, carrick will partner them and then hopefully we get someone to compete with carrick.
thats where i think attention should be.
if scholes did not sign then i'd be in portugal camped outside the porto hq but reality is he signed.
then there is cleverly who if fit i believe can do the same job and moutinho, add to the fact i also believe petrucci after a year on loan and fit can also do the job and can slot if after scholes leaves.
now please hear what i'm saying, i am not against this deal at 20 million but i do think adding another 5 or 8 million can get martinez who would be a far better addition due to what he can offer and the role he plays.
before anyone says get the 2, we cant, we still need a leftback as we only have evra.
if jones gets converting to midfield then by all means this deal is fantastic
