Stewart while that is encouraging, i still don't think our last season effect is as disastrous to Glazers as the Buc's , the only way a similar thing happening could be if, and its a big IF , we don't sell enough tickets and our matches aren't an automatic telecast choice and media as such doesn't view as "lucrative" , anything less than this i really don't think will prompt Glazers for real BIG Money moves , not that this summer isn't exciting BTW.
EPIC is only to us because we didn't a single trophy , but otherwise our Club has earned them well and hence my skepticism.

The fuckers bought those over-padded rugby-wannabes with OUR FUCKING MONEY!!
EDIT:
Sorry Stew - it was on the Red Ish Sanc i saw it, but i think that was taken from the Mirror article:
The youngster's contract is part-owned by his family. If they back a move to Old Trafford, it could give Ferguson's hopes of pulling off the coup a real boost.

As I said in the In's and Outs thread, the bullshit rumour mill will crank up a few days after the papers stop having Euro 2012 to talk about and naturally this happens. Maybe theres some plausibility if you believe we were genuinely in for Kagawa and Hazard together, which suggests we do have £30mill around for a young up and coming attacking talent.
Kids dont really seem to be eagerly moving from Brazil at the moment, maybe they want them to stay till the WC then cash in. If £32 mill from chelsea couldn't budge them then he wont come cheap at all.

There was another delegation who flew over the other day, this delegation must have been sent to track down the previous delegation since we've not heard from them in days. Sounds very political though, us sending all these delegations and all, classy. Check out the first 20 seconds of this clip, haha, that's pretty incredible. Also, contrary to the other vid that was posted it does seem like he drifts wide - and he looks devastating on the right. 2 wingers competing for each flank? I'd take that. I've subsequently watched that whole video and, even though youtubes can make anyone look good, this guy looks incredible and he's only 19. Technically, and in terms of his speed and reading of play he reminds me of a type of player that can turn a game in an instant, not many players are able to do that. If we do miss out, which to be honest is likely, he'll become huge somewhere else, likely Real Madrid. But this could be a huge coup if we're able to pull it off - seriously, even at 33 mil and pushing it with whatever incentives we are able to offer. If someone goes through the effort of watching that vid, picture him and Kagawa, however unlikely tactically

To be honest, and I hate even saying it, but the videos remind me of the videos you see of Pele. Or Ronaldinho. I know it's probably because Moura is Brazilian and has quick feet, so the idea is already lingering for a Pele comparison, but the way he just disappears past people is incredible.

I totally agree bestie, I honestly tried to avoid any comparisons of any sort but it's ridiculous how he's able to just ghost past players. Reminds me of Ronny in terms of technique and skill, especially some of those longer shots and the sheer cheek of what he tries. In other ways he reminds me of Messi in terms of his low center of gravity, his tenacity and his close control in tight spots.
Could be an absolutely massive signing to whoever he goes to, one of those you wish were playing for your team throughout his career. I hate saying this as I know those clips are from him playing in S. America, but if Hazard was worth 30 mil this dude is surely worth 40 andwould be a steal if anything under 35. He's ONLY 19 :/

Agree with you Jay and Bestie. And sadly with you too mightyez, regarding us not being able to get him. The kid does remind me of ronnie too. 35 would be a price too much for us to agree on. 30 , then maaaaybe.

I think he would be a dream signing...as has been said will light up any team and league he plays in...his strength and speed are just ridiculous...
Also don't like to make comparisons but shade of Pele and Garrincha come to mind....
Wherever he goes, I'll be keeping an eye on him....

Sao Paulo slam Inter Milan over Manchester United target Lucas aggbot.com/Manchester-United-News/article/17283616Inter president Massimo Moratti has confirmed that he will 'keep hoping till the end' to sign Lucas and the playmaker's representatives have been sounded out about a £20m bid. However, Sao Paulo director of football Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes has mocked the plan and questioned their motives. 'There is no (formal) offer and, even if it were to appear, this amount is ridiculous,' he said. 'How can you pay €25m (£20m) for a player of Lucas's quality? 'Italian football is broke - the club (Inter) are broke. It seems they are creating this to satisfy the fans.' The player's father and agent met senior Inter figures last Friday and have indicated a move would be considered this summer, despite previous indications that he wanted to stay until after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Nonetheless, Jesus Lopes insists: 'Lucas is happy here. Now he will go to the Olympics and he will continue to fulfill his contract, which runs until 2015.'
