Precisely, he's enough of a talent that he will be played wherever we can find space for him.

I meant to say between winger/CM i dont care. He's the type of player who can switch in an instant.

Surely we really have no right to be picky? We are complaining about a lack of quality in the midfield, and regardless of whether its a DM or AM or whatever we need and regardless of who we may have signed already, he is the type of player any team would be lucky to have.
Another Ronaldo-esque player that can do something in a heartbeat to turn a game on its head. The oppo wouldnt have a clue about how to deal with him

Totally SET, the more I think of it the more I think the boss thinks we're covered in terms of a defensively orientated midfielder and is going for creativity/spark. Jones will likely be given a shot at that CM role as well as Clevers and Ando. Signing a player like Lucas is the stuff of dreams, he looks the finished article at only 19 and I shudder to think what he'll be like when he's 25. The sell-on value will be astronomical.

At least triple figures. I'm genuinely excited at the prospect of signing this lad, but Tim Vickery compares him to Theo Walcott. . .

man, i feel like such a Negative Nancy. United have got me so used to disappointment with these marquee signings. I am just not feeling this one peeps. i applaud you for your hope, but this, of all the suggested signings just leaves me with little to no hope, for the life of me i cant get excited, no matter how good he is (and i admit the boy is dynamite!)

He does look a bit like Theo.
A Brazilian version of Walcott can't be all bad.....

Comparing him to Walcott is an insult, from what I can gather from just under 9 minutes of footage is there isn't an English player with the amount of skill/panache this lad has got. Not an insult really, It's what Brazilians are renowned for.

I do think though with Park now departed we HAVE to sign midfield players of high calibre if we are to stay pace with citeh. I have a feeling we are going to go 4-3-3 this season.
