Not getting excited, just pointing out the fact that its pointless to suggest we dont need him/shouldnt go for him.
The whole deal is a long way off - if it has even begun.
And comparing him to Walcott (as jay has said) is a terrible insult. Shows how little Vickery knows as Lucas actually has a football brain, whereas at times i wonder if Walcott even has A brain.

Yeah sorry I can't get excited for this one lads.
I had a good feeling about Kagawa because he was the sort of practical, relatively inexpensive signing I could imagine us making. He will make us a lot of money in Japan, he's young, he wasn't going to cost an extortionate fee as he was in the last year of his contract, he wanted to join us, he was already proven in a strong European league ...it was all relatively simple and I could always picture him playing for us.
Lucas Moura on the other hand.... an unproven Brazilian "wonderkid" signing for Manchester United for around £30m in 2012?
Are you guys high?

I know it isn't realistic our our style but wouldn't it be great to see him turning out for United???
We'll end up buying someone unknown from Eastern Europe....sigh.....

SET, i heard that Vickery comparison of Lucas/Walcott, and actually he was referring to exactly the same thing that you disagree with him on. He claimed that at times Lucas can play in a vacuum at times and not choose the best option in front of him. though he admits that the boy still has oodles of ability should he shake off that trait. |
